Magnum Roofing

When I decided it was time to re-shingle my roof I contacted 6 roofing companies. Steve from Magnum responded to my call promptly and set up a time to do the estimate. He showed up on time and was very personable and informative. There were no high pressure sales and I felt very comfortable talking to him. After speaking to the other 5 companies I decided on Magnum. Their price was not the cheapest but neither was it the most expensive. The crew showed up on time the day that they were scheduled to arrive. The crew was pleasant and presentable and worked efficiently to finish my roof in one day. The material used was all the best quality, the workmanship was excellent and the clean up was fantastic. They left my house and yard in the same condition they found it except with a new roof. I would recommend this company to anyone that demands excellence from their contractors.

I called Steve from Magnum, because I was experiencing a leak in my old roof. He promptly came over that same day, patched the roof and gave me a free estimate on replacing the existing roof. After researching other local companies, I came to find him the most professional and knowledgeable person I spoke to. Ultimately I went with his company because they used the best materials at a very fair rate. I was super happy with the respect his crew had for my family and our home. Job was done in one day and cleanup was perfect! He insisted I waited till after his personal inspection to ensure the roof was installed properly. Normally I dont take time out of my day to review products. But I am very happy and impressed. 10/10! Would recommend, Magnum Roofing to anybody who asks!!!

One of the best contracting companies I have ever used. The owner was knowledgeable, and patient in answering all of my questions. The price was very fair and the work was excellent. They arrived when they said they would and finished in the time frame I was given. The clean up was way better than I expected. I have no hesitation recommending Magnum to anyone.

Avoid this roofer. It costs less than other roofers but the quality of the work is poor. After they re-roofed my house in 2015, my garage started to leak when it rained. I called Steven (the owner of the company), he just quickly did some chucking. But it leaked again during the next rain. I called Steven again, then he started to blame my eavestrough that water couldn't get through quickly. I didn't believe my eavestrough was the problem because it had been working well before the re-roof. But steven insisted he couldn't find anything wrong with the new roof. Then from time to time, the roof leaked when it rained. Finally, I called up another roofer for a second opinion, this roofer immediately pointed to me that the flashing was installed poorly with a lot of gaps and holes in the connection. He helped me to re-seal all the flashing and the leaking problem was resolved. But I had to pay $450 for the poor work that Magnum roofing left to me. I was very disappointed and frustrated with this roofing company. Avoid Magnum roofing if you don't want to have a leaking roof,no matter how cheap they could done the work for you.

I would highly recommend Magnum Roofing to anyone in the Ottawa area. We were very pleased with Steve and the work of his crew. Everyone was very polite and professional and the job was done on time and according to the estimate. This is in contrast to some of the local roofing companies we've read about that have engaged in unethical business practices. Magnum Roofing is nothing like that. When we were selling our house a couple of years later, Steve even sent crew by to help answer buyer questions on eavestroughing, gutters, and roof vents. He is a man of his word, and follows-up. This is worth its weight in gold.
