Obtained quotes from 5 different Ottawa roofing companies before selecting Stewart. Quote process was quick and well organized, Kieran came prepared having already done a satellite photo based assessment of the house. Available options where quickly explained and backed up with reading material to help with the product selection. Quoted price was very competitive with the others received. The job itself was quickly scheduled (which was greatly appreciated as I had a leak in the roof), and the Stewart job leads were on site to ensure the job went smoothly. The bin, installation crew and materials arrived promptly as scheduled and the job went exactly as described. Cleanup was excellent, and there was no damage to the gardens that surround the house or to the driveway. They noticed a couple of bathroom fan venting issues from a previous renovation that were addressed at no additional charge. Very satisfied overall, and would certainly recommend Stewart to others.

We contacted three different companies and found Stewart Roofing to be right in the middle for price. Our first meeting with Kieran set the tone for the professionalism that was present for the whole job, from start to finish.They did a walk around both before and after the job and made sure we were completely satisfied before they left. The crew were hard working and extremely detail oriented, one member of the crew was even cleaning up as the work was getting done. Everything that was promised in the initial meeting was fulfilled above and beyond our expectations. I'll never need another roof in my lifetime, but if you do, don't hesitate to call Stewart Roofing.

I had Stewart Roofing re-roof my typical Barrhaven home in November 2016. Here is my review. Of the 3 estimates I obtained Stewart Roof was the most expensive but I was looking for a professional, quality job and did not mind paying for it. They replaced my skylight with a new skylight that was obviously too large for the opening. Strangely they did not mention anything to me, I guess they were hoping I would not notice it? I had to call the salesman who came back and agreed it was the wrong skylight. A new skylight was ordered and installed several weeks later! They forgot to install the rain channels as documented in their quote and that are apparently required for warranty to be valid. They came back and installed the rain channels but didn't locate them properly so now whenever it rains the water simply goes past the rain channel onto the shingles. They left lots of old nails and roofing material on the roof which became visible in the spring after the snow and rain had a chance to push the debris down the roof to a viewable area. My roof leaked just 2 weeks after installation (a Saturday night)! This caused the ceiling and wall drywall in the area to become completely soaked. To their credit they did come back on Sunday morning and coated the area with several tubes of caulking to stop the leak. On Monday, I spoke with the foreman for over an hour who then proceeded to try and blame me for the leak and wanted me to pay $200 to correct the issue (yes this is on top of the $8200 invoice). I obviously refused and decided to take it higher up the chain. I talked with the owner and let him know my concerns about the quality of the installation of my roof. He eventually agreed to come back in the spring to correct the leak properly. During the spring repair job one of the workers carelessly drove over my lawn causing an 8 foot long indentation on the grass which had just been covered with top soil and seeded. My warranty information was very difficult to obtain. I had to send several emails and make several phone calls before I finally received my warranty information. Over 9 months after installation! In the end I have essentially lost faith in Stewart Roofing. I declined their offer to repair the drywall and damage to my lawn. Based on what I experienced, the poor workmanship, communication and horrible customer service is definitely not what you would expect from a company like Stewart therefore, I would NOT recommend this company or use them in the future.

great service and quality products. they took a project I had been dreading to do and made it easy. best part is i will never have to replace this roof because it's guaranteed for life. highly recommend them

We contacted 8 Ottawa Roofing companies and decided to go ahead with Stewart Roofing for our shingle/roof replacement; I am very happy we did! Great price, great product (Owens Corning) and very professional - the guys were clean, fast and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend them to anyone in Ottawa.
