Magdon Music is an amazing place to shop for all of your musical gear! An unbelievable assortment of new and used guitars & gear at prices that a customer can actually afford! The staff is amazing and they are more than willing to help you! The teachers at Magdon Music are among the very best that the area has to offer and their lessons are affordable! The store is a must visit to anyone who loves a music store full of unique and very well priced merchandise! No wonder why Magdon Music gets "Best Music Store" Awards in all the major newspapers!!! We shop here whenever we can and I LOVE my weekly guitar lessons! I may start piano lessons soon too! I wouldn't shop anywhere else! I have been a customer here for 8 years and counting!!!

great selection but was felt as though I was being rushed and badgered to make a purchase while testing some amps (Mesa stiletto deuce combo,vintage modern marshall and a tsl60 marshall), by not one but all of the staff and was snubbed on the way out by the bald middle-aged staff member when I said "have a good one" unbelievable, I just got the impression they where desperate which is sad to see but with service like that no wonder. I wanted to buy local but it won't be here. I'm glad I live and wilkes barre and not olyphant where we have music-go-round a much warmer environment.
