This was my first ever Turkish pastry and coffee experience. We decided to dine in on the second floor. It is a neat and cozy place that was not busy in our experience. Hostess was friendly. The size of coffee and tea here is not what we used to in other coffee shops. Also, I cannot say if it was authentic Turkish coffee. At least I expected better than this. This was a very pricy experience. We got Buqlava as well, which did not taste as good as fresh in other stores. Another issue I noticed is that our orders were not served at the same time, so practically we watched other people in our party having tea or coffee while waiting for our coffee.
Beautiful place from the ambience to the service and the incredible quality of food. They serving sizes are good for the price. If you haven’t tried Turkish food and culture this place is a great start in Toronto. I ordered the curry chicken with rice delicious and hearty & the Alfredo pasta classic loved it and my absolute favourite that I will definitely be coming back for again the caramelized milk pudding with Turkish ice cream SO SO SO good. For drinks I ordered Turkish tea which was served with candied nuts and a Turkish coffee. Absolutely recommend for anyone who’s a fan of desserts and Turkish cuisine. 5/5
I was drawn to this store because of the atmosphere and the decor but the service was extremely slow and it doesn't look like as of now in early 2023 to have a good routine of serving the customers ie taking orders and payment. But I am very happy to find a Turkish ice cream store in Toronto!! I recommend the plain flavorFood: 5/5
The food quality is very good but there are better options for traditional Turkish cuisine in Toronto, lovely interior design, and lots of options to chose from - maybe even too many. The only thing lacking here is the service. Servers are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, but you could be sitting there for up to 15 minutes before anyone even takes your order; likely a reflection of the general staffing issues in Toronto.
The Ambience is amazing and ample varieties of dessert. We had Chicken Schnitzel and Chicken pizza both were served with fresh salad. Sauce and potatoes in Schnitzel were really good, I will definitely visit next time.
Great breakfast! Recommend the omelette beyti and the Turkish simit sandwich. For dessert the ice cream with carrot slice baklava was sooo good. It’s a pricey bill if you get more than one thing ~$40. Great job with this location! Def will be coming back <3
This place is new in Yonge street the decorations and the vibe is great , you will feel comfortable to stay for few hours here while eating your food , drinks or any desserts . I have to say the gray seats are not comfortable at all I tried to feel good about them but you can’t really enjoy or feel enough space for your arms i really want them to change the seats.however I liked the rose and potato and spinach boreks they served it hot . Mere our waitress was polite and kind I was welcomed there with dog and everything all together was nice and enjoyable. I hope they open new place on lakeshore Etobicoke
Turkish restaurant chain, newly opened in downtown Toronto. Cafe is brightly lit, with warm pastel walls. Loved the decor. Seating for approx 20 patrons with mostly twos and a larger table in the back. Service was welcoming, the waiter even gave my food mate free tea. Aesthetically pleasing display cases of baklava, dessert pastries, specialty ice cream, and baked items. Had the latte, strong roast but was smooth with milk. Tried the special dibek Turkish coffee which was a good way to enjoy Turkish coffee but with cream and spices. Reminded me of chai tea, wanted more. Tea was good, not too bitter, black tea; was a nice balance with the sweets. presentation was beautiful, I liked the monogrammed utensils. Baklava was exactly as expected, not too sweet, flakey pastry, something not to miss! The specialty ice cream also was different, the texture is and the stickier side but we'll flavoured. I'm happy to see they also have alternatives for diabetics. Happy to see another dessert place with unique desserts downtown. Cost: $15-20 per dessert; Turkish coffee $7. Tea $2-3. Overall: Will return to try more from the menu for sure. Hope to try the bagels next time. Probably really a 4.5*...
Great Turkish addition to the vibrant city. This place serves some authentic Turkish foods, although I didn’t try their hot foods but their desserts look delicious. I had their Turkish coffee, tea, and knafeh.
One of the best places to get Turkish food and desserts! I loved its cute interior design too, it might seem like a small cafe but they have the whole second floor which is pretty spacious and nicely decorated.
