The best restaurant in Milwaukee. We went twice on a weekend visit. The food is beyond phenomenal and authentically German. The atmosphere is inviting, comfortable, and it's cool to see all of the celebs that have stopped by on the wall on the way to the restroom. The waiter on the bartender side was one the most professional, friendly, and attentive waiters I've ever come across. I recommend this as a must do in Milwaukee.

I love this place. Great Sunday brunch with very good German food. I need to go there some time soon. Don't miss this place if you're visiting Milwaukee

My first visit in 3 years. I was unimpressed. Food was average at best. The meal did not include soup or salad.  Portions were ok(not great for the price). I've been getting larger portions and better quality traditional German meals with equal ambiance for 25% less expensive at EVERY OTHER GERMAN RESTAURANT in the city. Service was fine. Its just not as high quality and worth the price as I remembered. I have absolutely no problem paying any price, if the meal and service justify it. By reading the other reviews I'm hoping it was just an off day. I will be back and give this place another try soon.🤞🤞

my favorite Milwaukee bar. Great service and awesome beer selection. The place itself is beautiful and looks like a german bar in Germany. Right next to the basketball arena so perfect for games.

If like German food, you MUST go to Madera!  Very authentic food and old world atmosphere.  A Milwaukee tradition that visitors have to experience... many do because we locals take you here.  Hard to park, but worth the hassle.  Beer selection is outstanding and service is great. Great old building.  Go and enjoy.
