We've been coming here since it opened, so I thought I'd get off my butt and give these guys the review they deserve. The service regardless of the specific server has always been spot on. The food is fantastic here, and their lamb is one of the best I've had at a pub. Then there's the kilts... reminding me of Catholic high school where they were always worn incorrectly LMAO
Nachos, Shepherd"s Pie Mondays, Cobb Salad any day! Great food , great beer choices so many local! Much improved place with live music Friday and Saturday nights. Sad to see it close but I guess there are bigger plans! Goodbye Fionns Burlington! SLAINTE
Steak and mushroom pie, love it. Second time to this location, food is always consistent and service is great.
Great service, I think the waitresses name was Nicole. We got chips which were pretty good minus the processed cheese. We also ordered apple crumble which tasted like regurgitated tarte de pomme. Anyways Thanks Nicole!
Popped in for dinner with my wife because the “hot” spots had an hour wait list in Burlington, this place we just walked in, even on a Friday before St paddy’s day! Atmosphere is of course very pub like, dark woods decorated in green for the weekend. This location was a franchise, now it’s corporately run and owned, the menu has been simplified to offer pub basics, they were offering an all you can eat fish and chips, but I decided on the steak and mushroom pie, my wife had the power bowl salad. The steak and mushroom pie was just ok, mostly crust, served on mashed potatoes with gravy, the portion was a decent size and I felt full after, but that may be from the crust. My wife’s salad was mostly rice with a chicken breast , some carrots and beets on top, she said it was ok. Server was friendly enough, did not come to check on our meal or top up our water. Other staff were busy moving tables and chairs around us. Overall our visit was just ok, we didn’t stick around for dessert. Don’t think we will return, unless I have a craving for fish & chips as I think that’s all this place is good for in my book..... and beer.
Had the buffalo cauliflower which was actually pretty good! Also had the loaded bacon burger which was just ok. Won't be going that again but might try something different next time as the menu had a lot more variety than I thought
Fries were deep fried at least 4 times and hamburger was over cooked. Service on the other hand was excellent. Would not recommend since food is just not good. Look at picture of fries so you can see how bad they were.
Nothing says summer like a burger on a great patio. Excellent service and good food.
Ordered the burger which was tasty but what impressed me most was the service. Met a friend I hadn't seen for a while and even as the place was getting busy at no time did we feel hurried to leave. In fact, the waitress kept coming by to fill out water glass and offering to refill our coffee. She even assured us that it wasn't a problem and we could stay as long as we wish too.
I visited Sunday night around 6:30 and there was great live music out on the patio. Service was excellent with serving our drinks pretty quick and a reasonable wait for the very tasty food. I had the fish and chips which is a favourite there, another in my party had the wings and two more had dishes from the special east coast menu. Happy tastebuds all around. Thanks Daniel for the laughs and recommendations!
