We weren't sure about going here at first but we thought we'd drag the kids to at least one historical site. Guided tour was not only about the local history, but printing and newspapers. We got to learn how to set type, then helped operate an old time press for a one of a kind souvenir. This is a MUST visit when in the area!

Very interesting and educational! Corwan was our very knowledgeable guide and did an excellent job describing the history of Mackenzie and the printing press! A very cool and hands on experience, kind of a hidden gem! Definitely recommend!

Docent-led review of printing history and technology is very interesting. Now that digital printing is taken-for-granted, you have to see these machines to appreciate the effort that used to be required to get the word out.

Elena was a fabulous docent/guide through this fascinating little historic gem. Mackenzie's history amd the history of printing technology made seemless fun for wufe and me. Kids will enjoy the hands on demos of the presses. MUST SEE.
