Food was very good and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. I had seen a picture on the Google Maps information page showing a picture of a Monte Cristo sandwich that I was looking forward to trying. I didn’t see it on the menu so I asked our server if they still have have them. She said that it’s not on the menu anymore, and then said if that’s what you want. Friendly and accommodating staff, good food and drinks, lots of televisions to watch your favorite sports teams.
This has become our go-to place in Houghton Lake! We have spent a lot of time there over the past year. Great selection of beers, fantastic smashburgers, and excellent steaks. The brussels sprouts appetizer and fried mushrooms are probably the best I've ever had! We've always had amazing service and lots of friendly people visit this place. Next time you're in town, stop at the M-55 Pour House. You won't be sorry!

Love M55 pour house! They have a pool table and rotating entertainment karaoke, live music, keno, pull tabs, etc good service, very attentive on a Saturday night & TO DIE FOR SMASH BURGERS! Literally the best smash burgers! Great food & drinks! Also, their honey mustard is homemade and the BEST IVE EVER HAD!
Great little place, walking distance from our hotel. I had the smothered chicken and Brussels sprouts, both were excellent! The Brussels sprouts were some of the best I'd ever had! Hubby had the fried fish and onions rings, he wasn't quite so happy ..had to use napkins to soak up the oil but the portions were huge!! Would certainly go again
We decided to come to this bar and grill. We walked in, and sat down. 22 mins later, no server even asked us what we wanted to drink yet. One of the servers walked up to us and said "Have you been served yet? Oh, We will get your orders in a minute." And walked away. Then a few minutes later served the table next to us, and then walked away without coming back to us. Not coming back, and we left immediately. While we were there, one of the servers yelled out "Where did these pretzels come from?" Get your stuff together, people.
The Pour House menu is as diverse as it can get. However- if you are looking for a hidden gem, I recommend getting the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. This is not on their menu, but it is always prepared when my boyfriend and I request it. The chicken is the perfect size, hand-battered, and tossed in buffalo sauce. Need I say more??? .... I think so, because this is THE spot in Houghton Lake. The vibe is awesome - just how it should be for a restaurant up north. Live bands on the weekends, as well!! *** Warning *** These pictures may encourage you to make the drive up. If this is the case, I say do it!!!!!
Love the Brussel sprouts, smash burgers and fish. Enjoy the beer selection and Leno. Drinks are sometimes skimpy glass could be filled more. Otherwise it’s a great place
Cool little home town bar, friendly staff, good food, plenty of cool beers on draft, and a neat atmosphere. We especially enjoy going when they have bands playing!Dine in: Yes
Great wings, they were probably the best wings I've had. Food service was slow. Waitress was great. Lots of good beer selections on tap.
