Great Detroit Coney Dog and great Chili Cheese Fries. All authentic Detroit style.
Stopped in for a late lunch before closing. The service was amazingly friendly, especially considering we were there just prior to closing. The Coneys, burgers, and the bacon asparagus soup was fantastic. We will be back! Parking: Great easy parking
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a large menu with some unique items. It is a cozy small log cabin . It is definitely worth trying out!Food: 5/5
5 star quality! No delays on seating, ordering and most importantly to some, hardly ANY wait for food with a FULL HOUSE. UNLIKE the place down the road with the cowboy boot, this place works as a team to take care of their CUSTOMERS. The FOOD QUALITY was exceptional. Prices VERY reasonable. Once again, EXCEPTIONAL STAFF! I will DEFINITELY be back the next time I am local.
Best Coney's you can get anywhere. But that's not all. Everything on the menu is incredible! Staff is very fast, and always friendly! They greet you when you come in and say goodbye when you leave! This is the best place to take your family to in Houghton lake if your looking for fast, friendly service with outstanding food. It's the reason people dine out, and this place has it all!
The Biscuits and Gravy are the epitome of perfection. Perfect, flaky, golden-brown biscuits topped with the most magnificently seasoned gravy I’ve ever tasted. The service was fast, friendly and the prices were extremely reasonable.

We come up from Sagimaw, MI to our cabin in Harrison, MI twice a month and shop in Houghton Lake. So everything we are in Houghton Lake we always stop for take-out! Their Coney Hot Dogs are the Best! Great Onion Rings too. They are open for Breakfast too. Small diner, but does has indoor seating and on nice sunny days seating outside in front. Recommend to try Joe's Coney Island.
Excellent Coney Burgers / Dogs as would expect. Good gyros and pitas as well. Stop in for an excellent breakfast is the suprise.
Coney was good. I did not like them taking an extra 4% because I paid with my credit card. I always pay with credit card and this was the first time that's happened in years. I liked the meal but will never go back, for that reason. I was there at noon and the only customer
