Luigi's Original Restaurant

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Metro Detroit. Make sure you have reservation,wait time is very long but is all worth it. Food is authentic and delicious. Servers are extremely helpful and nice.

I absolutely loved the food here and our server!! The bread they give you before your meal was amazing. And the entrees come with soup or salad. Their dressing is homemade and impeccable. For the ranch lovers. There ranch is a Must have!! I had the fettuchini Alfredo with broccoli and scallops also very very good. I'm not a food critique however in three words the pasta was creamy, rich and beautiful. You're money is most deffinitly worth the service, atmosphere and ambiance in this establishment. If you do decide to go here I STRONGLY suggest asking for Gabriella as your server. Simply amazing service and she was always adamant about answering questions and remembering every detail we've requested! Kudos!! I hope you all enjoy it, I know we sure did!

This place been here since the creation of Italian cuisine. I remember the original owner back in the 70's, the pizza, pastas and salad's, can't explain how good it was. The original owner sold the place. I remember the second owner drinking on the bar, and killed the business. I was a teenager, after a few bad pizzas, it was over, never went back. Today it's family owned and operated, the cuisine is back if not better than Luigi's the original owner. Thank you very much.

Great place to eat love the perch dinner , chicken parmesan. This time ordered the prime rib came out very tough not very good only meal I ever had hear that was not up to par.

I've been coming here for over 25 years and I get excited when we make plans for a meal here. The food is awesome, the service excellent and the ambience is to die for. An obvious local favorite !!
