Such a wonderful experience at Lowcountry every visit! Do keep in mind there is a weekday offer which is 35$ and the same option on the weekend is around 65$. Wish we knew this earlier Our order was the Double Double with everything sauce, very spicy! Loved every last bite of it
This is hands down my favorite place to go to for a shrimp/crab leg boil!! When they do the weekday special and add that lobster tail even better!! Everything is good there to me the entree sides drinks the staff
This was, no joke, better than the crawfish boil I had in New Orleans. We ordered the weekday special and it was absolutely worth it. I had the very hot cajun sauce and it was the perfect balance of heat and spices. The only complaint I have is their very limited beer menu, but the food more than made up for it.
Went to low country yesterday in Lakeview. Im usually a regular but haven’t been here in awhile. Not only did they forget my lobster tail. The sauce was so salty it was unbearable to eat. It also has a weird metallic harsh Taste. I told them how bad it was. They literally washed me and my friend’s food off and put the exact same sauce on. We complained again, they washed it off again and just gave us butter on the side. I’ll never, ever return.
We got the payday combo - it was a good amount of food for two people! Contrary to the other reviews, I really enjoyed the fact that you order at the counter. They still bring you your food to your table and you're able to dig in with your hands without being interrupted by a server which is great when you're eating something messy. I loved that they gave you bibs and gloves and there is a sink for washing hands in the middle of the space. The seafood was really fresh. We got the everythang seasoning with a hot spice level and it was just enough to give some extra flavor without being too hot. The cornbread is fantastic and I will definitely be back!
Very cool vibe atmosphere service was great, food arrived within 10/15 mins of order, we were a party of 18, they ended up opening the downstairs for our group.
Me and some friends came here after a game and the food here is spot on! We love that they took us in even when they were about to close, now I recommend to get to low country before 8pm because they don't take dine in''s after 9:30. My and my wife got the fried calamari it was delicious ask for an extra sauce. The double double is what we had with a medium spice level it had 2 crab clusters and 1 lbs of shrimp, potatoes and corn in a bag, 2 cans of soads and a jalapeño corn bread that is to die for! You might want an extra order of that as well, the bread was so moist and creamy melts in your mouth! Low country is the place to be tip your servers because they do the job right! It was about 91.00 bucks with out tip very good deal!
I'm really lost for words. I love a good seafood boil and used to come here for my bday every year and refer others to come. but this restaurant has really changed for the worse. 1. the lack of waiters/customer service at anywhere but the bar was a bad move. 2. the food is not as good as it used to be. It lacked the flavor it used to have, they don't use as much sauce and the seafood no longer has that well-marinated taste. I actually left with a bad taste in my mouth as well as a bit of a stomach ache after eating it. 3. the cornbread changed for the worse. It's definitely not as good as it used to be. It actually taste below average which is wild because your cornbread used to be one of my fav things on the menu. I recommend you guys fixing this asap, going back to your old recipes, asking your old team to return, or whatever you have to do because it looks like you all don't even have as many customers as you used to.
I've been meaning to try this place for so long and I am soooooo glad I did. We ended up having it twice in a weekend and now I'm getting more again tonight. We did the build your bag with shrimp, crawfish and crab legs. we did the everything with extra spicy. The garlic noodles are a little dry but if you add it to the bag, it is literally chefs kiss. I wish they opened more than just beyond 5, so I can get it for lunch. Also we had leftovers. I just boiled water and steamed the Togo bag on top and it taste just like the night before. Highly recommend it.
BEST CRAB IVE HAD!!!! This place is really THAT good. Nothing compares to the EVERYTHING SAUCE and those sausages SO GOOD!!!! Warning! You will smell like garlic for the next 2 days! So worth it!Recommended dishesCornbread, Garlic, Seafood Boil, Combo B - Snow Crab Legs Combo for One Person
