This is the second time I have stayed at The Lost Moose, the first time was during COVID in the cabins and it was great. This time I stayed in our tent trailer and it was a great experience. I love seeing the changes made. This campsite has it all showers, bathrooms and extra sinks. It is very quiet almost to quiet and is surrounded by nature. I am sure we will be staying at the Lost Moose again at some point. Great place, close to town but far enough away that you don't hear traffic.
Beautiful quiet camp sites high on the Panorama Ridge , each one we have stayed at is unique with large picnic tables and fire pits. The cabins are amazing to stay at as well as the hideaway hut. Bathrooms and showers and dish washing station is always clean and well kept, roads are paved and the trails and views are incredible, the best sun sets. Family owned and operated and they come around to deliver wood direct to the site. Only 16 min from Penicton water front.
The Lost Moose is a really pretty and clean campground. I found the site had lots of room between you and your neighbor. Nice landscaping made a it a really beautiful plays to stay. It was a peaceful campsite the night i stayed. The bathrooms are clean. I’d love to stay again!
The Lost Moose is a great spot to kick back and relax. Situated high above Penticton the views are amazing! The camp ground is dog friendly, very well maintained with generous sized stalls that are well spaced from other guests. They also have very clean and modern washroom facilities real toilets and hot showers! We will returning for a longer visit next season,
my girlfriend and I spent 2 nights at cabin #3 at the start of December, and it was the perfect getaway! We loved everything about our stay here and would love to come again. We spent plenty of time in the hot tub, around the fire pit, and went for a great snowshoe around the campsite and property. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make meals, and the cabin was very warm and cozy.
Pretty cool campground. I normally don’t like to pay more than $20 or $30 for a camp site. We decided to do this one cus they have showers. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice everything was. The owner has been making this campground nice piece by piece over the last 5 yrs and it shows. The metal work and the wood work are great. We got more for $45 here than any other camp ground of similar price.
It was our first time camping at the Lost Moose and for sure won't be our last. So far, it is the best campsite we have ever been. Excellent staff and amenities. Very clean washroom and shower room. If you are looking to enjoy the peacefulness of nature with family, this is the place to be...will recomend to friends and family in Calgary! Looking forward for next year!!!
Absolutely amazing and helpful owners and beautifully set up campsites!! Me and my 3 girfriends camped here last weekend and this was by far one of the nicest campsites we found in the area. We looked at quite a few. Was so quiet and respectful. Showers. Bathrooms. Sinks to wash dishes and get ready. Fairly priced firewood. 10/10 reccomend.
Unique and well cared for campground with an attractive and functional shower house and dishwashing station. Campsites are fairly private and each campsite has something different to recommend it. Interesting picnic table, funky campfire pit, cool shelter, creative privacy screen, etc. It is a bit of a switchbacking jaunt up the mountain from town, but the air is fresh and the stargazing is unreal. We stayed in the glamping shelter and it was so cozy and fun for our kids. There were lights and wall plugs for charging electronics which was very handy. It seems like the details are taken into consideration. Highly recommended camping spot.
We have stayed at Lost Moose 3 times now, and each time we see improvements to an already lovely camping experience. We love the quiet and the birds and the scenic short drives to town, to the beaches, to the wineries . Beautiful private sites and facilities.
