Lost Falls Campground

About

Located along the Black River, we have 7 log cabins and 40 campsites, including group areas.

We rent canoes, kayaks, tubes, and stand up paddle boards!

Story

Our campground is nestled on 58 acres along the lower Black River. We’re pretty much a mom and pop operation with 40 campsites, 2 group areas and 7 comfy log cabins. We easily accommodate singles, couples, families, large and small groups, family reunions, as well as all types of business and tax exempt groups. Our covered pavilion is ready for feasting & fun. It is equipped with water, electric, serving tables, picnic tables, and a Weber grill. Cook on your own or ask us to recommend a local caterer who can provide simple as well as special dinners – even a pig roast.

We rent Canoes, Kayaks, SUP’s & Tubes for river trips. And don’t forget to “find” the Lost Falls. Definitely worth the walk.

The campground is open May 15 through September 30.

We loved it here! It would have been 5 stars if bringing your own DRY firewood wasn't an issue. The answer to having wet wood was "maybe you don't know how to start a fire." Really? Just take A LOT of lighter fluid with you. ;)

Very fun place. Clean and large beach accessible by car. Lots of mosquitos, but that's ok. It's in the woods afterall.

I love this place. Almost every year, multiple times a year, I bring my family and friends here. I can't imagine a more beautiful place. The staff is incredible and is the biggest thing I look forward to. Rose has a heart if gold and I love visiting with her every time I go.

Well, we didn't camp there yet but, we stopped by there to see what it looked like on the way home to Illinois from Rice Lake. We were very happy with the friendly acceptance at the owner's front door. She let us in and answered our questions and the best part of the whole visit was looking out her windows facing the river down below. What a million dollar view! We thought it is a little pricey for what we are used to but, maybe the river fun has a lot to do with it. It looks too far down to the river for us. Looks like fun though

Nice quiet campground. Rv sites were clean and large. Good river for tubing, with regular shuttle service and lots of opportunities for stops on the way down the river. Rates are fair, staff is very friendly.
