Hixton / Alma Center KOA

A wonderful campground. We were arriving late on the first day of a cross country move and had a reservation for a tent site, however it was very rainy and dark by the time we arrived, so we were able to switch to one of the small dry cabins and it was awesome. A bunk bed and a full bed with a/c and a cute porch with a swinging bench. The showers and restrooms were great, the best from any campground that I’ve seen. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, the views and atmosphere of the camp were great too.

What a lovely campground! Overnight stay, late arrival, folks still at office, led me to site. Quiet, clean bathrooms, amazingly friendly staff. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The BEST KOA I have ever camped!! The kids have a blast on the giant pillow, the park and the pool. Great family FUN!

Great place, friendly staff, grounds are well kept, bathrooms are spotless. I'm sure I will be back.

Cabins are very cute. We stayed in one that has no amenities. Bathrooms add shower were very clean. The owners are very nice, very accommodating. Nice little gift shop with lots of extras like shampoos,towels,knick-knacks etc. There is a pond that you can fish in. Playground area fitted the kids. All have porch swings, which I really liked. Lots of walking areas. There were deer in the yards every morning eating apples from the trees. My only gripe is the Wi-Fi. Never could get it at top of the hill where our cabin was. There are lots of beautiful motorcycle riding areas here too. Beautiful rolling hills and farms. Several antiques shops in the local area. I'd recommend it and well be back again.
