My car had a leaking heater hose. Normally simple enough to fix, but it appeared as if the entire intake manifold needed to come off to get to it. I got three bids. Local wrench was the highest (by just a little) but I had a gut feeling I should use them. I dropped the car off and they gave me a free loaner car. I went home and kept expecting to get a phone call telling me they'd 'found' other problems and it was going to cost more money. Instead, the call was simple; come pick up the car. So I get there and was informed that the mechanic figured out a way to repair it w/o the time-consuming hassle of removing the manifold, saving 1.5 hours of labor which was reflected on my bill. Needless to say, I was flabbergasted. Yes, I'll use them again. Yes, I recommend them.

I wrecked and totaled my car. Brought it to Jeff at local wrench and we discussed options. He was able to get my car legal and on the road within 2 days. Years later, I am still driving the same car, and a newer one. He's the only local mechanic I trust with my engines.

Jeff Baker and his team are awesome! Great attention to detail, and the work is right the first time. They kept my Mercedes running like a top through nearly 230,000 miles, and I take my new one to him instead of the dealer! Jeff does great work in the community as well, real "full circle" business.
