8 of us relatives met here for dinner for the 1st time in 6 years. Local still has the same great atmosphere, food & service. We enjoyed several Pints of Lager & glasses of white wine. Entrees included burgers, salads, Fish Taco Plate, BBQ Rice Bowl, Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Waitress Amanda was terrific, very attentive. We will return should the opportunity present itself.
Second time here and it was extremely satisfying. I had the enchiladas with blackened chicken. The tomatillo and mole sauce were delicious, the chicken moist and blackened/seasoned very nicely. The patio is super well done and comfy.
What a great place to eat. Very busy when we were there but still the service was great and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. My wife and I shared the truffle burger and that chicken sandwich, both really good. Thank you so much for accommodating our group of 7 on somewhat short notice. I would definitely recommend!!!Food: 5/5
Great stop for some good grub. We had the sliders, eggs Benny and fish tacos. Portions were a good size; the eggs were cooked to perfection, the potatoes were also great and well seasoned. The coffee was the only disappointment. Worth the stop.
Looking for a great place to eat in MH was a challenge. So many options but some are closed, mixed reviews and sketchy pictures. We settled on Local and were very happy. Food was great and they have an excellent selection of craft beers. Service was also very good. Wasn’t cheap but I think fair for the level of food and service. Would go back for sure.
Can't go wrong with Truffle burguer and quesadillas... the flavours were exquisite and the service was outstanding!Food: 5/5
I am close walking distanceand I met a friend for lunch....I had the fish and chipsnot on the menu and my friend the chicken burger. I LOVED the fish.....the chips seemed to maybe have been sitting a bitwe came early for lunch they were not overly warm and almost stiff....my friend seemed to enjoy his burger. The lady who served us was very even as the restaurant filler up.

A decent pub with classic pub dishes that tasted great. The drink menu is somewhat limited, but it was possible to order something to our tastes. The decor is nice and comfortable, while the service was not bad. All in all, I'll be back.
Usually really good come here every time we are in medicine hat from Calgary burgers are really good but I got the wrong choice the BBQ rice bowl it came out cold and the pork was chewy the only good part was the egg and rice. The server was very nice and accomodating
