I’ve been getting my cakes at Loblaws after discovering how great their cakes are, and the bakers are so talented it’s such a great pricepoint and I’m never disappointed! Pardis is so amazing and accommodating, I’ll always get my birthday cakes from her. I wanted a simple BRAT CHARLI XCX theme for my friend, and it was such a hit.

Loblaws City Market at Park Royal is a convenient spot with a wide selection of fresh produce, bakery items, and a decent deli counter. The store layout feels modern and easy to navigate, and the prepared foods section is handy if you want something quick. Staff are usually friendly, and the rooftop parking makes access straightforward. On the downside, prices can be higher than other grocery options in the area, and it does get crowded during peak shopping hours, which makes checkout lines longer than you’d like. Still, it’s a reliable place for quality groceries and specialty items.

I just placed an order for a birthday cake and had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Pardis. She was the sweetest, most professional person I could have asked for! She took the time to listen, gave me amazing recommendations, and tailored everything so thoughtfully to make sure I walked away with something I truly loved. Her warm personality and attention to detail made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable.nThanks again Pardis for making this such a wonderful experience!

I used to shop at this location years ago and was always satisfied. I don’t know if the owner or the manager changed after COVID, but ever since the new staff started working here, I’ve completely stopped shopping at this branch. The employees are extremely rude, impatient, and seem to have no understanding of basic customer service.nnTwice I placed PC Express pickup orders, and even though the store was quiet and I was the only one waiting, I had to wait more than 30 minutes. I even called several times to ask about my order, and they falsely claimed the store was busy. In the end, I had to cancel my order.nnEven though I live right next to this branch, I now prefer to shop at the North Vancouver location. I would strongly recommend the staff here visit that store to actually learn what good customer service looks like.

I had such a wonderful experience with Pardis at the bakery. She went above and beyond by beautifully decorating a cake for me, even though I hadn’t placed an order in advance. I truly appreciate her talent and effort—thank you, Pardis, for the amazing job!
