Delicious food and great service! Don't be afraid to sit outside in one of the heated bubble tents. They are very cozy and warm! I ordered the crab cakes, they were fantastic. Vegetables were cooked perfectly. Staff was awesome and the food was served in a timely manner. The menu had a wide variety of options, from meats to seafood to salads. I definitely want to come back and try out the wine and dessert menus.
My favorite because the menu has so many great choices. The food tastes like they found one of Chicago's finest chef! The atmosphere mix of modern and traditional feel. Wait staff very friendly. I will return often! Try the Chicken Milanise! It's all great though! You won't be disappointed! Features: Packed outdoors! Was 82 that day! We chose to eat inside because we had been walking the shops and wanted cool air to eat. I really like the cozy appealing indoor layout and seating. Windows are large enough to view outside.
1st time here. Great lunch service! Nice vibe too! Chicken Cobb salad was delicious and I will definitely be back for this. Best Arnold Palmer ever. Husby had the burger as the chef intended; also very good.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
Great spot on third street. Lively atmosphere, can be a bit noisy inside. The short ribs were excellent. Tortellini were massive and equally tasty. We also had the bread pudding and tiramisu, bread pudding is highly recommended. Nice drink and wine selection. Service friendly and prompt. Great option for dinner at fair prices.
I love what I had so far! My review of the food: - pappardelle bolognese : good texture of noodles, perfect sauce, loved the shaved Parmesan on top! Great combo with the juicy meat! - calamari and shrimp fritters were a hit! Very crispy and perfect texture inside. - chicken Milanese was great! The chicken and the sauce were my fave. Noodles, perfect texture, but not my fave flavor! - farmer chicken salad was so good! Other things I tried from my other friends’ order that I would recommend: - zucchini mozzarella fritters! SO GOOD. I don’t even like zucchini but I loved it cause it doesn’t taste like it! - lasagna bolognese was good too! Generous portion. - chicken limone was good. Over all very kind service!
Last night I hosted a private shopping event at Jane Pabon Boutique. The shopping event took place over the dinner hour, so I wanted to be sure to provide substantial food that would also be fairly light weight, as we would be trying on clothes. I knew Jane was ordering charcuterie for all of us from Livia, so I thought it would make sense to see what other menu items I could order and treat my guests to as well. I called Livia in advance of the party and Natalie was wonderful to work with, and so helpful in helping me choose chicken limone and vegetables to serve the guests. Natalie also helped me order deviled eggs, which were not on the menu, but something I was hoping to serve. On the day of the event, Heather did a super job delivering all of the food on time and it was beautifully displayed. Chef Mike even added a Ceasar salad for us to enjoy as well. The food was so fresh and delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. My guests showed up hungry and enjoyed this amazing feast with their eyes, as well as their bellies! Everyone at Livia was a joy to work with and made planning the menu so easy! Thank you Natalie, Chef Mike, and Heather!
I want to love this place. I keep.coming back to do just that but yet it fails to wow me. I am a person that wants the wow in food. Livia is a decent restaurant with attentive servers. However the food doesn't impress me like the sister restaurant. This time I tried the Pappardelle. Look I am Italian and when I order papppardelle expect to see big beautiful noodles. That is what I was dreaming about. Instead I got slightly warm, chewy fettuccine which made me so sad. The chicken was also unimpressive, a little limp and not well seasoned. The food category descriptions make it seem as if it's farm to table but it seems more like a heat n serve place. The sauce had very good flavor so I am giving it a 3. It has so much potential with the right Noodle and served hot, maybe a little cheese on top, or at least ask the patron if they would like cheese? Maybe a basil leaf? Like I said, I'm Italian, presentation is key. Perhaps some char on the chicken? We had to forego the appetizers as my daughter is gluten free and there were no options that interested a young adult. Also check your tables, ours was rickety and unpleasant to dine on.
The food was phenomenal, I do recommend the honey ricotta cheese as an appetizer, we ordered the lasagna and the salmon and they were delicious! The service was great, this is a wonderful place to have a snack or a great meal!Food: 5/5
As always, the Gia Mia/ Moto/ Livia team delivers. Great drinks, great food and great service. We stopped in for happy hour and got cocktails and the wild mushroom ragu. The ragu was suggested by one of the bartenders and it was delicious. Be sure to ask for some bread to soak up all of the cream sauce.
Very nice place, cool outdoor seating and great waiters/waitresses. Food servings are huge, Lasagna was easily a two person dish! On Geneva’s nicest street I think we were invited out by friends, so not sure about the prices :
