Great little camp ground, $10 for grass camping, they aren't picky or over the top with anything! Super pleasant! AMAZING VIEW from your campsite!!! 

TOTALLY WORTH IT! 

If I ever come by here again, you bet I'm sleeping here! Can't beat that view!

RANGER/VISITOR CENTER IS ACTUALLY ON THE LAKE SHORE, ACROSS FROM THE CAMPGROUND.  ON THIS MAP, THE BIG WHITE SQUARE ACROSS FROM THE BOAT LAUNCH AND BALL PARK. 
Great Ranger Station / Visitor center 
Wonderful people, fun and educational experiences. 
Great for kids and adults.

This review is for the campground next to the ranger station.  The campground is run by the town of Russell.  There wasn't a lot of privacy and it can be noisy.  However, it has a nice sand beach and a great view of Lake Superior.  There are clean flush toilets maintained by the station, as well as pay showers.  Ice is available on site and there is a very good store about 10 miles away in Cornucopia.
