Big Rock Campground

Great campsite! 13 sites. Right by the river. Fun remote hiking right along the water. Bathrooms right next to sites. Had a water pump. 13 bucks a night. No cell service at site. Close to a cute lil coffee shop with WiFi.

Been to this campground many times and will keep going back!! Small quiet campground with a beautiful creek running thru it.

There are two sections of this campsite, about 4 miles away from each other. The part we stayed in was tenting only and it was awesome! On one side of the road, the grounds are nestled in the hillside and on the other, there are several sites overlooking the river. To my pleasure, there are also hiking trails through the abundant woodland radiating around the site. It is a self-service site, with an artesian well, pit toilets, and a pay station, all under aged pine trees. My only regret is not staying longer.
