Tried the special drink: pineapple rosemary oat latte and Mont Blanc hot chocolate. It’s pretty unique and taste good, but not for everyone. Cute interior, friendly staff and owner, service is excellent. My 3 y/o babe girl accidentally dropped her hot chocolate on the floor. The owner told us not to worry about it, and made a new one for us. That was very sweet. They also carry lots of home-made pastry, haven’t tried it yet.
I had to try their thanksgiving croissant. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Despite looking a bit dry, the croissant was super warm and moist and the filling was amazing; great balance of sweet, sour and salty. The service was amazing and great attention to details. The matcha latte a bit on the pricey side but amazing. I will definitely visit again!
Amazing!! Their round flavored croissants are like a dream. So delicious and the filling is to DIE for, but their isn't usually a lot, so you have get the timing right or wait for them. It's a wonderful and calm little place. I keep going back, I love it so much!Food: 5/5
Been looking forward to trying this little cafe! Go early though because their items sell out especially the supreme croissants that are all over social media. Staff taking my order was new but very friendly and clearly trying hard to give the customers a good experience. Grilled cheese on sourdough was perfect and the mont blanc hot chocolate was super tasty not too sweet either. Chatted with the owner too and he was very nice. One of those small businesses you just can't help but want to support because of the people behind it!
We went for the supreme croissants that are all over social media and dined in. We got coffee and London fog flavours. The croissants were not warmed up albeit we didn’t ask… which is a shame because 45 seconds in a toaster oven makes the crunch and pull of the pastry 10x better. The pastry itself was perfect. Crunchy crust with familiar soft dough inside. The topping was very tasty but I wasn’t a fan of the taste or the amount cream inside. Contrary to other reviews I prefer a pastry that shines on its’ own with minimal extras. I would have loved this croissant with the topping, but without the cream for example. Personal preference. For $8, it’s almost the same price as a coffee and pastry at other cafes around town and I figure a little steep. Great concept, won’t be back though.
I found this great place in Instagram, so when i came to Vancouver from Toronto i went there to try unusual supreme croissants. It was such an amazing food tasting experience! Great stuff, comfortable and cozy atmosphere Next morning i came again, they had more flavors my recommendation matcha ! Thank you, Little Cafe!
Officially have my new favourite sandwich! Order the "Ham Sandwich on a Croissant"...very savory and melt in your mouth! The popular drink on their menu is the Mont Blanc Hot Chocolate...I guess a lot of people order it because it looks aesthetically pleasing...but taste wise, I've had better hot chocolates. The whipped ganache at the top takes away from the flavour and the taste of of the chocolate is minimal...not worth the price I think. They have good lattes and overall it was a good experience: 7.5/10
Service was excellent despite being super busy! The supreme croissants and super special, but lack some filling ~ drink was great and made to perfect sweetness ~ must try at least once! The London fog was my favourite!
Little Cafe on Robson is a tiny storefront that has a few tables inside and some chairs outside that serves coffee and baked goods. They have a few menu items in terms of breakfast or sandwich related items. Prices are pretty good for the big portions you get, and the taste is really there. It does take a while dor food to be made, although its fresh, and our order was messed up so it took a bit longer. I think with some more training for their front counter employees both speed and service they would move up to 5 stars.
When i arrived its long line up already but the pastry itself tasted really yummy My friend and i ordered cappuccino, matcha, raspberry, mon blanc flavour. However Certain flavour are not available so be aware the wait time if u dont mind the wait : also i wish the matcha filling would be more stronger flavour but overall its great. i also ordered london fog latte!
