This coffee shop is often quite busy. I’d say this is the busiest out of the 3 Sciué locations I have been to. Thankfully, they have some heated patio seating outside to accommodate more customers! When we go here, we frequently grab a latte or specialty drinks, but they do also offer some great Roman style pizzas, sandwiches and pastries. If you’re looking to grab a beer, they have that too! Staff is usually quite friendly but most of the time, I feel they can be quite overwhelmed with guests so the dining area doesn’t always get turned over quickly. Bring some patience when you go as there may be a wait. You can tell the staff is working hard, just got a lot of orders on the go! :
Went in for a cappuccino . The coffee was good :hot, strong and aromatic. But it didn't have the pretty pattern I was expecting. There was no line up when I placed the order with tip payment. However the two servers were busy talking to their friend outside the counter and my coffee wasn't made until I went to ask for it after waiting for a while. The place is noisy, loud music and loud customers, which creates the atmosphere of a busy place, not bad if you don't mind.
Came here for Hot Chocolate Festival 2023 Got both the white and dark chocolate offerings. My partner and I liked both but had to give it to their "Ticket to Amore" for its herbal notes from the basil to compliment the smooth and creamy hot chocolate. It wasn't overly sweet either which we preferred
Came for the hot chocolate festival 2023 and tried both flavors. The casanova on the right was delicious, but the ticket to amore left was a bit too experimental for my taste. The basil was overpowering the chocolate flavor. Overall, I still liked the experience of trying different flavors and would still come back for the food another time
Unfortunately a disappointing experience. the flatbread was good but served luke warm, even when it was offered to have it heated up. the service was dreadful. No greetings, the two emotionless ladies were occupied with their personal stories rather giving "service" No cutlery was provided and I had the impression that customers are just a bother.
My absolute favourite place in Vancouver for authentic tasting coffee! The staff are super nice, atmosphere is relaxing, and they have a nice selection of pastries. A definite must visit when in Yaletown.Food: 5/5
The coffees were fine, the food was close to inedible. The hollandaise sauce was as thick as custard and tasted like nothing, my benedict toast was untoasted and soggy with unseasoned soggy spinach on top. The breakfast potatoes were merely boiled and not at all broiled, everything tasted bad. Also pretty expensive. Don’t waste your money here.
Lovely place ! We were just passing and we decided to have breakfast ! Their fresh warm pizzas just came from the oven and they taste amazing. I also ordered matcha with my breakfast which was little powdery but it was good . Sitting outside was quiet refreshing in that sunny morning.
Amazing management, ambience, food and servers. If you are new, try the smoked salmon pizza. It is amazing. We use them to cater our events in Vancouver since their prices and quality are wonderful.
-Wasted over 15 minutes standing in line waiting to order because the flow of traffic is extremely unclear. -No pricing or descriptions for pizza's available so the customer isn't even aware of all ingredients in the pizza or how much they expect to pay since the price is determined by weight, which you only find out after they already package your food -Super unhelpful, inattentive staff -Do not offer proper packaging for pizza orders made to go- they reheat the pizza in the oven and then wrap it up in parchment paper, which makes the toppings stick to it and makes a mess, then throw your food in a paper bag -Arrived back home from a 5 minute walk with my to go order to find the cheese from one of my slices stuck to the wax paper with disgusting burnt pieces of god knows what from the oven on the bottom of my pizza, the 2nd kind I ordered spinach had RAW flour thrown all over the crust and the cheese had re-hardened and was thick and resembled craft cheese -The flavour for both pizzas I ordered was incredibly lacking. I've never had such bland, disappointing pizza IN MY LIFE. -I don't even post reviews but I felt so compelled by this abhorrent experience to warn the public. I can't even eat the rest of this "food". I will NEVER be returning, COMPLETE WASTE of time, money and Yaletown real estate. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!!
