Liquor by Mehbs

We love Mehbs. The staff is always friendly, its always clean and the prices are awesome. Cant complain either when you get a free bag of ice if you spend 40 dollars or more. Highly recommend!

I was an employee, never a bad comment from management or guests. That is until one particular guest came in calling me all kinds of names and swearing at me because I would not give out the schedule to the “sexy” staff. Note this was his third time in abusing me only because I was male. This particular guest was also a contract employee of Mehbs. I asked the guest to no longer come in while I am working. I am not employed there to be abused by a school yard bully grown up. When I was a manager I would have FULLY stood behind my staff for that decision, and would have told the guest to never come back with out an attitude adjustment. However in this case I was asked to quit. Male employees are to put up with the abuse. I can assure you if he did that to female staff he would be banned. Another employer that has two levels of employment standards.
