This is a typical downtown mall with a nice selection of stores and a fairly decent food court. They have lost some retailers but still have the basic selection like Winners and Shoppers. However the hours are suited for the business crowd as the close at 6 pm. We were staying at a hotel nearby and found this to be a draw back.
A nice place to spend time in. Shopping complex with few variety of stores and the local ones of course the shoppers, dollarama and many others too. Surprisingly I didn’t know it had cinema in which is also pretty good. Few movies playing at a time is a perk. Also it’s really great to see security constantly patrolling/monitoring the surroundings at the entrance as well as all the floors/levels. Overall a nice place to visit.
Hopefully more shops open in this centered facility. Not many options for shopping loving people. Not me The food court also has limited shops. strangers thing I found here is the catholic church.nnVery well connected with public transportation. Discount parking for shoppers I saw signage of you spending $50 parking free
Once a bustling hub of commerce and community, Edmonton City Centre now feels like a shadow of its former self. Where there were once vibrant shops, busy food courts, and the hum of people going about their day, there are now empty storefronts, quiet corridors, and a pervasive sense of decline. Many businesses have shuttered, leaving behind only memories of what used to be a lively downtown destination. Safety has become a concern, with visible signs of struggle and growing homeless encampments creating an atmosphere that feels more desperate than welcoming. It’s heartbreaking to see a place that was once full of life now reduced to echoes and uncertainty.
More and more s5ores are shutting down. I was especially disappointed that Atmosphere shut down. A lot of Security and Police presence because of drug dealers. Drugs billing sold near west entrance. Regular occurrence of O.D.s. New Food Court is spacious and clean looking. Rest of Mall looks old.
