Walking into Liquidation Nation feels like entering a garage sale thrown by a conspiracy theorist with excellent taste in discounted home goods.nnYou don’t shop here — you dig.nYou hunt. You explore. You bargain with fate.nnOne aisle had air fryers, Halloween costumes, and a Bible. The next had socks next to a broken office chair and four bottles of expired protein powder. I blacked out and woke up holding a $12 weighted blanket and a ceramic owl I definitely didn’t need.nnIs it overwhelming? Yes.nIs it glorious? Also yes.nWill I be back? 100%.nnJust remember: if you see it and don’t grab it — it’ll be gone forever and you’ll dream about it nightly.
Well. You may be overwhelmed by the offering here. There is so much to choose from. Best prices I have seen. I wasn't sure what I was looking for and subsequently purchased stuff just to be sure. The clothing section in the lower level. Purchase one at regular price and second is 50% off. How can you go wrong. Be ready to pick/sort thru items. What you see is what you get. Friendly staff, happy to take your money. This is far away from me but worth a day trip drive. Go visit then go to Mariposa Market for lunch. Amazing.
I must say im loving the specials buy one get the other item half price on clothing which has been running for a month or two. I like to praise the girls in the downstairs level very helpful findings items, locating your size and even checking the back room. But, I would like to suggest hooks on the outside of changeroom doors to hang more than a few items. Would be nice to have a place to put your clothes that you've tried on. In my previous visit to the clothing area one of the ladies demanding in a tone of voice I didn't appreciate to return the clothing where I got them . I feel it should be up to the staff to return items if I'm spending money in their store..Nice to see driveway paved.
I absolutely love this place, definitely a place you need to take your time in though. They have great deals on brand name items, although some of the things are broken, open or damaged. You definitely have to allot yourself some time to rummage through this place. My friend and I found Great deals on a couple of pairs of vans and Doc Martens for my daughter. A couple of the pairs were cute but seemed like they had been worn before and not just to try them on if you know what I mean. The first floor of this place is house wares, stationery, toys, food etc and the basement level is all clothing and shoes and I believe baby gear. This is truly a gem can't wait to visit other locations
I’m giving Liquidation Nation in Orillia a 3-star review, and while I’ve been shopping here for nearly 19 years, there are a few things that really need improvement.nnLet’s start with the parking lot—it’s honestly a disaster. The potholes are large enough to do some serious damage to your vehicle if you’re not careful. It definitely sets a tone before you even get inside.nnThe store itself is quite dirty and very disorganized. If you’re someone who enjoys the thrill of the hunt, you might find the odd good deal tucked away somewhere, but you’ll have to dig for it. That said, a lot of the items seem either overpriced for a liquidation store or in rough shape—damaged, dirty, or just not worth the price tag.nnOne of the more frustrating things for me is the return policy. Most items have a 7-day return window, but carpets only have a 24-hour return, which isn’t realistic—especially if I’ve sent a client in from out of town. That barely gives them time to get it home and test it in their space. And while they carry things like refurbished electronics and scratch-and-dent appliances, the warranties on these are minimal, and personally, I wouldn’t feel confident making those kinds of purchases here.nnNow, on the upside—this store is packed with a wide range of items. You’ll find toys, clothes, bedding, books, beauty products, appliances, carpets, mattresses, tools, pet supplies, housewares, footwear, and even jewelry. They often run specials on clothing, and if you’re patient, you may stumble across a few solid finds.nnThere are change rooms and washrooms available, but it’s important to note that the store is not wheelchair accessible. The basement level, which houses the clothing, footwear, and travel gear, is only accessible by stairs. This also means the washrooms are difficult to access for anyone with mobility issues or older shoppers who may struggle with stairs.nnAll in all, while there’s certainly variety here, the shopping experience leaves a lot to be desired. With a little more cleanliness, organization, and attention to customer policies, this store could really shine.
