Costco Wholesale

This location has a very big parking lot, with lots of spaces available even at busy times.nnThe warehouse is pretty generic in the sense that it is like all other Costco's, which is a good thing. I was able to find everything I wanted in a quick period of time and the self-checkout moved relatively quick.nnThe food court area was spacious when compared to other Costco locations.nnThe only negative is there seems to be a lack of cart corrals in the parking lot, I had to walk quite a distance to return my cart. I noticed a lot of people just ditched their carts in empty parking spaces or on the grass.

I live in Barrie, but I enjoy making the drive up to this location. It’s less busy and easier to get through aisles. Lots of parking, and it seems to be the only location that sells raw dog good. Overall I enjoy my experience there when shopping and the people/associates are always friendly and welcoming.

I wish there was a sugarless snack section. Parking is good. Its clean and organized. Easy to find what you need. Friendly helpful staff. No complaints.nHealthier snack options in bulk would be awesome.

Originally when this Costco opened I gave it a 5 out 5 mostly because of the people working at this location. They where very friendly and helpful. Also the store was clean and we'll stocked.nnThings have changed since that time maybe because of the economy, cost of living or who know what but today was by far the worst experience. When we where checking out we came across this cashier that not only gave us attitude when we raised a concern on how she was handling our stuff when cashing out but she had the audacity to blame her lack of care on my husband and I. No apology only shifting the blame. Seriously who does that to a customer dropping over $500nnWe called for the manager and she did next to nothing accept ask the clerk if she needed help. She did not take any corrective action.nnThe icing on the cake came when we finished paying and as we where leaving the clerk yelled Merry Christmas in a sarcastic manner. We just walk away because that was disgusting as she so obviously did not get how rude she is and was not worth our time to deal with this individual any further. This person clearly does not understand what customer service is and should not be working with the general public.nnRegarding the lack of cleanliness it's to do with empty boxes on top of available product and all over the floor. With a lot ot people at the store made maneuvering the store more trickynnI will no longer go out of my way to shop at this location unless customer service is taken more seriously with employees that have direct contact with customersnnUpdate - MAR2023 went there this past weekend much improved customer service thank you update to 4 starsnnUpdate - JUN2023 same 4 starts service good but prices have gone up quite a bitnnUpdate - SEP2024 same 4 stars for store but good news prices have dropped on quite a few essentialsnnUpdate - June2025 great spot to walk dogs at the back parking big grassy area. My other half goes I to shop and I have an opportunity to take my dog for a walk

I would like to give a shout out to one of your employees. Her name is Grace and she was one of the employees that check the receipts at the entrance. My Mom recently had surgery and cant shop without one of the scooters. I spoke with Grace about it and she saved one for my Mom when I had to go and check on her. Very helpful, kind and thoughtful. 2 Thumbs up Grace
