The waitress was very short and took payment for the buffet and pointed to a table. No help yourself, plates are over there, would you like a drink? Meanwhile there was 1 busting her butt. Mussels were dry & old, corn was too soft, pasta was bland, taters were old, the chicken was something like I buy at the grocery store take out, butter was hard, not much of a selection at the salad bar. The utensils were dirty. Ribs were bland.

We went to the Schooner Room to see the Elvis impersonators. Helpful staff and the theartre was well set up. The row numbers and seat numbers are on the floor. One of the workers took us to our seats. The show the set up even the staff everything was very professional.

Great vibe, lovely drinks, lots of tables and slots! A nice fun way to spend the evening. We were here on Easter weekend, the staff had these cute bunny ears on! Fun evening overall

We play blackjack weekly in the Crown lounge. It is always a first rate experience, great staff, great service. I would give a full five stars except that they are clearly struggling with a minimum of gaming tables open. This is a good place for a friendly, relaxed game.

It was a good day. Friendly staff, not too crowded, free parking, buffet was decent. Every time I visit Halifax I always make my way down there for a game or 2.

Very clean and handy. Washrooms if you're in a pinch! Far too many gross nasty smokers lurking around the front. I thought there was a law against this? Just cutting through the place. My clothes reactive tobacco smoke, so disgusting!

We were excited to go to the casino. We went to sign up for a players card. Do we get free play for joining...no. Do we get free parking today for joining...no you have to a minimum of $60. play to get free parking. Parking was $3.00. We found that the place to be unwelcoming. We have many players club cards from many casinos in Canada and Vegas. Most welcome new players, but not Casino Nova Scotia in Halifax. The machines are all dialed down so no max volume anywhere. Old or knock off machines not top of line new slots like you see in other casinos. No ambiant sound from overhead speakers either just low sound not sure what type of music was playing....just not the regular casino upbeat vibe. So my take on Casino Nova Scotia in Halifax ... it's simply boring.

This is a nice attraction in Halifax. But do not spend too much.

Pay 10 dollars with your club card, and eat as many lobster tails as you want. Ribs available too. Ice cream and desserts! Different theme of buffet each day! Can’t ask more than this!

I was here for a conference and found the staff very helpful. I asked for help finding a place to pay for my parking and, because I was there for an event, the gentleman validated it on the spot instead of directing me to the nearest kiosk. Extremely judge and helpful.
