Story

Founded in October of 2011 and based in Montreal, Canada, LIKEAHOTEL is the first and only fully licensed vacation rental network. Professionally managed, we offer high cleaning standards, quality furniture, comfortable mattress, fully equipped kitchen and even organic mini soap and shampoos. There are no personal belonging in the apartment you are renting, they are all,100% hotels. Likeahotel is going green!
We utilize a 100% electric vehicle as well as ensure that all cleaning, hygiene and paper products are either organic, biodegradable or from recycled paper. We believe businesses should be leading the way towards good environmental practices.

When booking with LAH you also buy peace of mind knowing that once abroad you can rely on a free customer service line 24/7, an office nearby with staff ready to answer your questions and a flexible self-check in check out system. It’s not all, we know how you like interacting with real people and when traveling in a foreign country it could be difficult to find a phone or get access to the internet so we have developed a unique “virtual concierge desk”. This platform on top of being loaded with information such as your own Wi-Fi password, parking, local grocery, taxi number, restaurant to go, bar and touristic attractions, allows you to talk face to face with one of our friendly customer agents without ever leaving the comfort of your building !

Really unacceptable customer service. I booked for 2 nights through airbnb - a few hours later, I was advised there was a double booking so they will be changing my reservation to a different location. Okay, these things happen, no problem. It wasn't preferred, as it was farther away from where I wanted to be (closer to my friends' place), but I accepted - payment was processed and I received a receipt and confirmation number. Twenty minutes later I receive a message advising that they've now overbooked again and would like me to relocate AGAIN, this time much farther. As I would now be expected to pay for transportation, which I was not anticipating, I expected a fair compensation for the multiple mistakes made on their end. All they offered was 20% off a FUTURE booking. It's not reasonable to expect a customer to make any future bookings when they've had such a terrible first experience. I've been e-mailing back and forth all day long trying to coordinate my stay, and front desk management was of no assistance. Please work on your customer service and don't overbook your suites and expect customers to change their booking multiple times with a smile. It was a complete waste of my time, with no cooperation on your end for your administrative mistake.

I would like to leave a review of this fantastic Hotel. My wife and I have stayed here twice with our one-and-a-half-year-old son. Location: the location is perfect and it allows you to walk up into the french-speaking areas, down into the old city or easily into downtown. Rooms: the rooms are well lit clean and both rooms that we stayed in had a loft. Honestly I don't think I could stay in a normal hotel room if a room with a loft was available. Staff: the staff is amazing. Everyone at the front desk and in the office was incredibly helpful to us over both of our 7 Days days. They allowed us to store the stroller in the reception area and we're always very friendly. Also, I accidentally left a lot of money in my room when we left. I had hidden it just out of habit but apparently I hid it so well that I totally forgot it on the day of our check out. The staff located the money and I had it back within a few days. Breakfast: they buy pastries from a good bakery around the corner and they are free in the reception area. These pastries are the real deal. It would be hard to find this anywhere else and it is a wonderful idea. There's also fruit coffee orange juice and other options. Now it's the part in the review where I guess I'm supposed to say something negative. Sorry I don't have anything to report. We will definitely be back and I am 100% certain we will have another fantastic experience based off of the consistency and quality of the first two week long visits!

Really comfortable stay here over the new years eve weekend. Would recommend to anyone staying in the downtown montreal area.

Prince Arthur location is the best to see the city. There aren’t many hotels in the plateau/mile end area so it is fantastc! Prices are amazing for what you get, our bed was memory foam and so comfortable. Staff are very friendly. We will be back!!
