Around 2 pm on a weekday. Peaceful and quiet just next to the water with delicious steelhead burger and a glass of white wine something Humbrecht, sorry don't remember the full name, it was nice. I had to sit outside because I had my girl with me. They were kind enough to open the patio for me and find a cushion for the seat. Lovely staff. I will definitely visit again.
Every summer, we look forward to coming back to this place to enjoy oysters on their beautiful ocean-view patio. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking — you can relax with the sound of the waves and take in the fresh coastal air while dining outdoors. The staff are always warm, attentive, and professional, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. In the afternoons, they offer a happy hour with excellent deals, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The oysters here are consistently high quality — plump, fresh, and cleaned with great care, which really shows their attention to detail. One of the highlights for us is how pet-friendly the place is; they even prepare little treats for our dog, which is such a thoughtful gesture and truly sets them apart. All in all, it’s a lovely spot with great food, fair pricing, and a welcoming atmosphere — definitely worth coming back to year after year.
Beautiful view a must see, right on the water in coal harbour. Went for happy hour at 3 sat on the patio. Our server was not very friendly, she kept interrupting us and never said welcome, how are you, just what do you want to drink? The tempura prawns were delicious, the meatballs were ok they weren’t very hot. Had the Rose , it was good for $9 but the Happy Hour food menu was a bit pricey. When we requested our bills, she came to the table and it was the first time she was friendly. Handed me the debit machine but she had already pushed the 20% tip button! I noticed and changed it to a lower amount because of her personality. I have never had a server ever automatically pick the tip amount. Would go back for the view but service needs to be addressed. Not feeling welcome by your server is not very hospitable.
It was our Anniversary night and we decided to have our last meal of the day at Lift Bar & Grill, and it couldn’t have been a better experience! Vibe and ambiance is so good.Our server, Mariam, was incredibly warm and attentive, and truly made the evening feel special. The food was amazing — everything we ordered was spot on — and of course, their toffee pudding remains my all-time favourite dessert. Such a lovely touch to end a perfect night! Exceptional service and 5-star hospitality all around.
Cool place with a cool view. To me, the food was super bland. Mac and cheese was plain in taste, same goes for the fish and chips. The fries & tartar sauce had the most salt out of all the dishes, including the gnocchi not pictured. I don’t think the food was particularly stunning as I prefer something with more flavor, but it was still good.nnThe view was cool and the service was amazing.
