I ordered a 2 tier cake and cakesicles for my daughters 1st birthday and Life’s Sweet did such an amazing job!! The cake was moist and the frosting was perfect. The design came out exactly how we asked. So perfect! Thank you so much.

Melissa made the most beautiful and delicious custom single tier cake for my mother’s birthday. The vanilla bean & mixed berry was a crowd-pleasing flavor combo. I provided the party invitation as inspiration for the cake design and Melissa delivered! Everyone was asking where we had gotten the cake and most importantly, my mom loved it! We will definitely be ordering from Life’s Sweet in the future.

Man o man! I get the Italian BLT and the Mangonado as well as whatever delicious cupcakes they have! Melissa & Freddy have an amazing spot that is personal meaning they remember and value you as their customers and super delicious!!! If you are in the area definitely a must stop spot!!!! Need a savory bite for breakfast or lunch/brunch or a delicious treat or need catering/cakes this is the place to go in Rogers Park! All ingredients are fresh! Food is made to order! Life SURELY is sweet! I am new to the area and I always pass by this cute spot on a dog walk. This particular day, I so happened to make a stop to check them out. I am glad I did! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by 2 friendly faces. These women were kind to both me and my dog! I asked a few questions about the treats and overall menu. One of the ladies walked me through the items. I end up getting a carrot cupcake and a raspberry tres leche slice of cake! Look forward to seeing what else " Life" has to offer!

What a gem! This friendly and adorable neighborhood family-owned bakery and cafe has excellent food and baked goods for affordable prices. For breakfast and lunch - you really get a lot for the price, and the speciality drinks are amazing highly recommend the mangonada. While I've only done takeout, the inside is family-friendly, cozy, light, and casual - very inviting. This is my new go-to for brunch takeout and special-occasion baked good gifts - just check out their hot cocoa bombs and beautifully decorated cookies.

Choosing life's sweet was the best decision I've ever made on a party planning . I was wondering how a cake boutique can have 4.9 Star ratings and wanted to give it a try for my LO's ½ bday. They were very friendly and they were flexible with all the customization I wanted matching my theme. The "half cake" in underwater theme and the cupcakes matching it was a huge success and tasted heavenly. I could customize the color, layering and the flavor. It was all very freshly made and of the best quality. Thank you so much!

I tried the cheesecake with fruit on it and it is DELICIOUS! Rich and creamy without being too sweet or too anything. You can really enjoy it without feeling like you just ate 5 pounds of cheesecake in one slice. If you've got a craving for something sweet, do yourself a favor and stop in for a treat!

Aahhhhh so delicious the owner is amazing everything look so pretty that I don't always want to eat it but then I remember the flavors and I dig right in. Mom absolutely loved hers! I also ordered food because I was hungry from errands and man..... all I gotta say is TRY IT!! You won't regret it Ps my avocado onlh looked like that because I waited too long to eat it. Had to wait after I finished ALL mh errands
