Library De Pierrefonds

One of the most beautiful libraries I have ever visited. Its gorgeous and lively, full of an amazing book collection in both English and French. There are super cozy spots to work or leisurely read, such as the quiet room. I especially appreciate the library activities, such as movie night. Its a super fun way to connect to the community. The library feels like a happy safe place for me, full of cool plants and nice decorations. The stuff is friendly and helpful. The space is spacious and full of light coming from giant windows. One can borrow boardgames and sit on giant pillows with friends and snacks enjoying a cozy night of play.

This library is an amazing, calm, study place OR it would be if there wasn’t a security guard harrassing me and my friends. We’ve come here for multiple days and each time she insults and follows us yet ignores anyone actually making noise. She threatened to kick us out and call the cops MULTIPLE times. I would understand her if we were genuinely being loud and disrespectful but we were simply chatting about our work and attempting to study. This library is so beautiful and has so much potential to be much more, before this lady started targetting us we had been to this library for years and enjoyed it thoroughly.

A very modern library with great collections. We go there almost twice a month and the kids always bring home dozens of story books novels, anime, comics, etc. They also have work or study rooms as well game-gathering room, and even a multi-media rooms that you can freely reserve. And don't miss this: they have a rooftop garden for you to sit outside and read books while enjoying the sun. They also have a mini theatre that could fit 50 people, where they give free movie events for kids. They have very modern design and decors, and they have lift between floors to accommodate people with disabilities. It's not the most quiet library you could expect, but the community could definitely benefit for many purposes! It's a must visit library. During summer they have the TD Summer Reading Club program and many cultural activities including jazz concerts on Wednesdays at 7pm.

Are you a student that wants to study here? Not a good place to. No good wifi, loud library and you can only reserve a study room for a minimum of 2 people if you want peace and quiet. The wifi sucks so you can't even do any work. Overall, ddo library is better if you want to go study.

Great space for your children to study. There are quiet areas, and other places where your children can discuss group projects for example.
