It’s small and cozy, but not quiet and no plugs anywhere if you want to study with a laptop. There is one larger desk by a window with catgut chairs, in the genealogical section, that has a plug. That’s it, and if you’re tall and/or big, it’s unlikely these chairs will work for you.nnPre-pandemic there were multiple study areas with plugs and a private desk, but they were all removed during the pandemic and were never returned.nnThere is a small room you can book for meetings, requires some planning but it’s free.nnMostly French books and magazines with a wide range of topics, but you can order books in from any library on the network. About a third of the library is just for kids.nnTwo clean bathrooms and solid wifi, with lots of art, play areas and places to sit outside.nnWould give it more stars if I could sit and study here hours without constant, noisy interruptions from staff and somewhere to plug a laptop.

Although the library is tidy and everything is in place this is no place to study. They migh as well turn it into a coffee shop. People come here to socialize. Even the librarians are loud so there’s no point in asking them to tell people to shut up, unless you wanna tell them yourself and come off as rude, since you’d be the only one who’s there to study or read
