This is a terrible office for many reasons.
The staff working the phones along with the nurses are very inconsistent with their knowledge of medical records. Leaving a message with them is the equivalent of throwing your message in the trash.
Dr. Lesser himself I would describe as unprofessional.
His appointments consist of a 2-3 minute assessment followed by a treatment decision of which you have no say in.
I'm never going back to Family Medicine and I would advise other patients to steer clear of this embarrassing establishment.

My family has gone to him for a long time, and he has been my Dr since birth. Great place to go, very knowledgeable.

I have been a patient of Dr.Lesser's for 27 years. My family has had a long relationship with him and his staff. I think there is a lot to be said for seeing the same familiar faces for so long. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. He's always gone above and beyond to take great care of me.

The annual fee thing is one time per year. It makes sense instead of paying all the feed throughout the year for paperwork, etc. This office is very good about refilling prescriptions for me on time and they always do a great job explaining to me exactly what they need to do to make me feel better. Super nice staff, especially while I'm still figuring out my new insurance

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Lesser for many years, at least 15 or more. He is extremely thorough and diligent in both his exams and his diagnoses. I had a great deal of difficulty finding blood pressure medicine that would control my high blood pressure, but we worked through it over a relatively short amount of time, and found a combination of drugs that worked well to control it. In addition, the office and nursing staff has always been pleasant and professional. I have never had any problems with excessive wait times to get into an exam room or while I was in the exam room. I appreciate that Dr. Lesser takes his time with each patient answering questions and alleviating any concerns, so to me if I have to wait a bit, it is well worth it to me knowing that the care and treatment I receive will be based on my level of understanding and comfort. Lastly, the additional office fee is much less than going to many other doctors' offices where there is a charge for every filing, billing, submitting, etc. of results, etc. to insurance and other offices, such as to a specialist. I have had many acquaintances who use the Centegra Primary Care Physicians and a visit basically costs them $200 to $300 a visit once all the paper work fees are added which insurance does not cover. To me, the most important criteria with Dr. Lesser, is that he is in his OWN practice with his name on the door. He doesn't just get a "paycheck" for hustling patients in and out of the office like with some "hospital" physicians' groups. I worked in one of those offices, and the doctors are generally of lower quality since they earn a paycheck and are not responsible for the actual practice and continued growth of it.
