Les Foufounes Electriques

For many Montrealers, the Foufounes Electriques is a legendary place that's associated with street art and graffiti in more than one way. It's been unfortunately closed for months. It will hopefully survive the pandemic and reclaim its right place in the hearts and minds of Montrealers.

Favorite bar in Montreal, then again I'm a metal head. The place is huge, front and back patio, with loud music, good beers and televisions, what's not to like. Great service too. Totally recommend.

Very original atmosphere in this place. Great music and inexpensive drinks. Love it!

Bar Only with reasonably priced drinks. Great atmosphere dark and mysterious. You are allowed to bring your own food in and eat it there. The later it gets the busier.

Great drink specials and friendly staff

Temple of my properly mis-spent youth. Pro tip. Don’t take your 12 year children here to drink beer as my father did with me in the 80s unless you want him/her to be punk rock his entire life. Eat the rich!

Dark and mysterious, I saw the tiki Skulls and was drawn towards them, this place is so aesthetically pleasing and the beer is cheap plus service was friendly. I don't know much French but the music was alt rock and having a beer under the lights is just such chill vibes, if I'm ever in Montreal again this place will be a must visit!

Love coming here every year for Pouzza fest. Always comfortable and enjoyable.

A favourite hangout in the heart of the city. Metal and punk live or on the stereo. Reasonable prices on all adult beverages. Chill staff and eclectic crowd. Great patio in the summer, too
