At first, the place doesn’t look like much, and the menu is super small, but the food is seriously good.nnThat said, the service was really slow.nWe waited almost an hour for our meals, and then another half hour just to get the bill, even though there were people waiting to be seated.nnIf you’re not in a rush, it’s worth it for the food, but don’t go expecting quick service.
Food was alright at best. The burger was good. The tuna steak had almost no flavor. My biggest disappointment was paying $18 for a dumpling entrée to share—I mentioned it was to share—only to get one dumpling. $18 for one dumpling is outrageous.nnOverall, my experience was alright, but I probably would not go back. $100 for two people for an average-quality meal.
Good dining option in the heart of RimouskinnThis place is obviously very popular at lunch time. We came on a Thursday and it was packed already.nnThe food was really good and hearty, huge portions, and good beers! I do wish that there would be more selections on the menu, particularly seafood.nnStaff was bilingual and very friendly.nnRecommend!
Passing by the city, we stopped in Les Affamés for lunch. Turn out to be an excellent decision. What a pleasant surprise! Extremely recomendable. Next time we are around, we will definitely pay a visit.
Incredible food and atmosphere. We had the tuna tataki, tetes de violin fern sprouts, salmon gravlax and the steak. It was all very tasty.nnThank you for a wonderful dinner!
