Ok, so in Rimouski for teen volleyball and someone mentions a Michelin recommended restaurant. We decide we have to try it. Sitting at the bar, chatting with the open kitchen staff, watching them make these dishes, this place is a highlight of Rimouski not to be missed. Great wine card, local only beers, and the food is completely amazing. Like all gastronomie dishes, eat bits and pieces individually to figure out the parts, then taste it as a whole to really get the full symphonic orchestra that was inted, this place is fun, laid back and completely delicious. And significantly less dinero than we were expecting for the value. A must stop and see.
Their poutine was the best I had in Canada. The mushroom soup was fantastic. The service was friendly and professional. The wine was so good.
The food was really good. We had a few bites before we thought to take a picture of our food. For lunch it was a table d'hôte. The appetizers were a little disappointing, the onion rings were a little over oily, could have been put on paper towel first and the green salad was good, but it was just greens, it was what it suggested, I just would have liked a couple of vegetables in there.nnThe meals were very good. We both really liked ours better than the other person's. I had the chili and it came with one singular tortillas even though the menu says chips. I assume they changed it to a bigger one instead of a few small ones, but i would have liked to have more. I asked for a second bread bowl so i could eat that with my chili and they had no problems giving it to me. He had the salad and thought it was really good. Overall would recommend
Good dining option in the heart of RimouskinnThis place is obviously very popular at lunch time. We came on a Thursday and it was packed already.nnThe food was really good and hearty, huge portions, and good beers! I do wish that there would be more selections on the menu, particularly seafood.nnStaff was bilingual and very friendly.nnRecommend!
The steak de thon mi-cuit was spectacular! We sat at the bar and the atmosphere was great. Prices were very reasonable for the quality—definitely a spot I’d come back to if Rimouski wasn't too far!!!!!
