Yin Yan Sushi

I was in Rimouski for work this week and had the badluck to try Yin Yan Sushi on St-Germain. It was for lunch, and I ordered the salmon with honey sauce that sounded really good. First, the fried rolls that they served for appetizer was great. One of the best I ever tried but it was the only thing close to be edible at this place. I also had a couple of sushis as appetizers as well. Not impressed by the quality of the ingredients. The Nori was of poor quality, the cucumber were cut too big and the rice didnt taste right. But the sushis were ok. Not the best but its what you expect in a small city like Rimouski. When the main dish came out, I was shocked and offended! They served me FROZEN salmon overcooked in the MICROWAVE as a dish. They poured a bit of honey sauce on top and thats it. Even the rice they serve with the salmon was bad as well. I had some rice grains that are hard and dried up ( they used old rice and warmed it up). I feel that they took their customers for idiots for serving something like that. Frozen salmon filet.... Micro-waved.... and old rice from the day before.... If you are not a great chef/ restaurateur....its ok... just stick with something you know.. Dont come up with dishes like that salmon with honey sauce... I was really dissapointed... Left my dish untouched and just paid and left... I am really not a picky person when it comes to food. But this place was too much. I cant comment on the rest of their menu, but from what i saw from one dish, I can say that they lack profesionalism and respect for their customers. I would not recommend anyone to this place. Yin yan sushi... pas fort pas fort....

Un service de qualité mais surtout le goût du chef...quel bonheur! Belle découverte référé par le Gîte C'est la faute des biquettes au Bic.
