They do one thing, and they do it well! Leopard pizza has an interesting take on Pizza. This was my first time trying sourdough, and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavour. The pizzas here are thicker than most pizzas of similar style, which is great if you have a big appetite. The flavour of the crust is different and, yet, intriguing. The only comparison I can make to explain the taste is between regular steak and dry-aged steak. The pizza crust has a tangy taste but might not be for everyone. To compliment this flavour, the sauce used on these pizzas is the part that stood out to me. Very rich, yet has a sweet taste. Overall I would give the pizza alone a 4/5. I love that Leopards focuses on just pizza. They know what they are good at and they stick to it.
Great new spot in Edmonton, tried 2 pizzas and 2 appetizers and was pleasantly surprised by how everything tasted. The pizza had a great sourdough crust, which was soft and tasted excellent. The real star of the show in my opinion was the charcoal grilled chicken. No idea what is in the sauce but it was genuinely amazing. I will be coming back just to get more of the chicken!
Lovely new spot in the city for pizza and drinks, this was my second visit here and it won’t be my last! I’ve tried at least half the menu from sharing pizzas with friends and they were all phenomenal. Our pizzas were eaten before I could snap a photo, but I did manage to take one of their INCREDIBLE soft serve before it was devoured. The flavours rotate as well which is always fun and keeps you coming back. The atmosphere is intimate, with small tables and dim lighting, and the choice of music is always perfect.
I was very excited to try this place and I was not let down. The sourdough pizza crust is sooooo delicious. I tried the Hawaiian pizza and really loved it. The margarita pizza was also very good. Cocktails were incredible, which is no surprise given the association with a couple highly rated cocktail bars. Save room for ice cream!! The soft serve is delightful! Great service as well. Will definitely return and highly recommend!
Order: provolone sticks, chicken thighs, 2 pizzas, root beer We came in 10 minutes after opening on a Wednesday. Food was fine- nothing amazing, but not terrible. We moreso didn’t have a great experience vs. having bad food. There were 2 hairs in the chicken thigh appetizer. Server didn’t seem to be phased, only responded half enthused something to the effect of “oh no that’s awful” and took it away- we were not charged. Dips are not worth the $2. Housemade Root Beer was incredibly watery. Pizzas were good- 7/10 We originally were planning to order soft serve, but decided against it as we were just ready to leave. Server was sub-par. Not very friendly, kind of just stared at us like “come on you know the drill”. But when it came time to pay the bill he suddenly was interested in conversation. Large storefront windows were very dirty and the restaurant had an odd smell. Design of the restaurant had a nice retro feel with cushy booths and a great abstract mural on multiple walls. I wouldn’t tell folks not to come here and I hope as it settles in a bit, things will iron out and improve. I’m not sure that we will be back for a while, if at all.
I'm giving this place Went for the first time as I had been wanting to go for awhile and it didn't disappoint. I shared a hawaiian pizza and provalone sticks and we didn't finish everything,we definitely left feeling full! Their Creamsicle Drinks are a must try. If you have a ever evolving taste bud that's open to trying new things the Tonka Bean Soft Serve with Evoo&Sea Salt is definitely something to try before calling it a night. Thank you! Will Try Again!
Had a great experience at Leopard with their sourdough pizzas! I loved the flavor of the toppings and the nice char on the crust would recommend getting their dip on the side for the crust. The soft serve ice cream was super delicious/creamy and they use Rogue Wave Roasters for their espresso just in case you were wondering for their affogato. Our server was very attentive and was friendly! Plenty of parking on the rear at West Block and would recommend checking this place out! This might be tmi, but I appreciate their music playlist, good hipster songs
Delicious cocktails. The chopped salad was super flavorful. Would definatly reccomend getting the soft serve with olive oil and salt
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Leopard and I was blown away by the quality of the pizza. The crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. I tried the sourdough FUNGHI pizza and it was hands down the best pizza I've had in a long time. Not only was the food fantastic, but the service was top-notch as well. Our server was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the overall dining experience was wonderful. I highly recommend Leopard to anyone looking for delicious pizza and a great dining experience. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu items. Thank you for a wonderful evening! Thank you chef Jon!
I have been waiting months for this place to open and it didn’t disappoint. Our appetizers were tasty. Our cocktails were phenomenal. And the pizza was great. The staff there all seemed like pros. My only critique was that the pizza was a tad light on toppings, and a tad heavy on the crust. BUT, the good news is that the crust happened to be delicious, so it’s hard to complain. I can’t wait to go back again and try some more of the menu. Welcome to the neighbourhood, Leopard!
