Queen Donair

Mixed feelings with Queen Donair. Had it with skip a few times in the past and it was awful but I partly blame the driver's since they seem to take an additional 20-30 mins to deliver after pick up. My last visit was much better and would recommend picking up directly instead of delivery. Service was good, donair was built just the way I like it. Price was average, portions average as well. Quality was good but the taste didn't hit like other donairs. Almost seemed rather bland if that's even possible? I would rather eat here any day over Hollywood Donair and Mom's Donair.

Went for the first time today. Just wanted sole Donair so Googled it and Queens seem to be the best close by. I went because of the positive feedback and that the owners respond to positive and negative feedback. Food was great. Actually way to much. Owners were very kind and friendly. Wild definitely go again if I were in the area.

Ordered a loaded donair with the addition of banana peppers. All I got was meat, a tiny bit of lettuce, and banana peppers. No sweet sauce, no onions, no cheese. The point of the donair is the sauce, this is the second time they gave me a donair like this. I paid extra for toppings and didn't receive. Disappointing

What happened, I used to love your donairs. The walk into the store with the smell of freshly cooked Donair meat on the rotisserie, the sound of the meat crisping up on the grill.This is how I remember it years back. The meat used to be very flavourful and the sauce just drip everywhere and all I could imagine doing was sip the remaining juices from the bottom of the bag. Now I feel the meat is lacking flavour, didn’t taste much onion as the lettuce ratio took over and the that old dripping meat juice with Donair sausage dripping out is no more.needs more sauce Used to be the place, I used to brag to friends for queen having Edmonton number 1 Donair but sadly you guys really need to up the Donair game again. 3/5 Might have to give other Donair locations a shot.

Was the Best at one time but since new owners or management its been such a disappointment! 1. The meat is No longer heated on the rotisserie like before and cut fresh its actually pre-cut and stored in large clear bags on the counter, then put on the original grill but these guys put a ladle of fluid on the meat and put a lid on top of it to cook it. 2. Toppings are old with Browning Lettuce, Yellow Tomatoes and the Cheese is Not the fresh foot long piece you got years ago it looks old. The Sauce is Not the same as well and you only get a small amount from a squirt bottle. 3. Place has made us Sick from eating here a couple times now and we Wont ever be back.

Ordered in using skip. Food was okay tasting, nothing revolutionary, but not bad tasting either. Skip driver or resturant forgot to give us our bacon poutine, so we reordered it. We put in the special instructions "don't forget this time" just as assurance that it would be delivered. An employee who's name I didn't catch, proceeded to call and ask us about it, now it would've been a nice call, had they listened to us when we said we re-ordered it, but they kept interrupting us as we tried to talk, and wouldn't let us get a word in edge wise, after about 5 minutes we hung up. They then began to call REPEATEDLY, and despite us saying "we've re-ordered and got a refund on skip so just make the new one" they continue to repeat over and over "let me take a look at your order, cause we didn't forget." we get it, you didn't forget, our skip driver lost it. No big deal. Continued constantly until our new order arrived. Woke up the next day with a touch of food illness too. Please be careful ordering from these guys, if you even hint that they made a mistake, they will harass you,and check your food real well before consuming. bet there's an incoming reply stating it wasn't their fault or claiming I have the wrong location.

It was a great place but the atmosphere wasn’t very welcoming. May be is it due to the fact that not much people were there but they mostly focusing on online delivery orders. They should mention that it is Halal

Not the best donair I’ve had Onions not exactly fresh and weak on flavour same with the lettuce, Donair sauce on the weak side as well Donair meat was a little spicy but seemed to be missing other flavours that I’m used to in most donair. the meat is a little too thick sliced and makes it too chewy. The regular size was like a super it had a lot of meat. I think a few tweaks and possibly could be a BAD BOY of a Donair. As it is now it’s a 7.1 out of 10

Great food served with a big smile very friendly staff and tasty fresh food. Delicious homemade fresh burger crushed on the grill to order a must try.

I pick up food from this location a few times a month and it's a great place for comfort food. Lately I've been obsessed with their lasagna best lasagna on Stoney Plain Road imo. They also have great Donair, burgers, and deep fried stuff. Affordable, and friendly staff.
