This place is a local neighbourhood hidden gem! With lots of parking and just off a couple major nearby roads, it's easy to get to and well worth deviating a block off your typical route. The homey, bright, and welcoming decore is only surpassed by the service and amazingly delicious and healthy food! They do a very impressive job of providing several vegan and vegetarian meals... both single serving and family style.
This is such a great space! It's so well put together and the staff is friendly and awesome! Highly recommend it, to kill a hour or spend an afternoon. It's advisable to make a reservation for the play side. Overall our kids had a blast and we will be back again.
Sweet Pea is cute little cafe but a slight disappointment. The cafe when I went by did not have any ice for any drinks that I wanted. So I ordered a smoothie for $8 and it was in a small cup and it tasted mediocre.
Cute little cafe with nice selection of food and beverages. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking. Everything we ordered was delish!
This place is a hidden gem in west end and I am so glad I discovered it for my Son's 3rd birthday party. The kids had a blast In the playhouses. It's such a magical place . Our party had kids ranging from 2 - 6 yrs and they all had such a great time . This place is worth every penny if your are planning your LO's birthday party . Food from the Cafe is also great .a huge menu with lots of variety to chose from. Can't forget to mention that parking is not a problem here !!!! Highly recommend!! You have created a gem Denise !!!
Small, little cozy playground and clean. My kids love to play here. I like the small space, not too big like other indoor playground. Its good enough to hang out with your friends who have kids. Bonus: the lunch, dessert & drink menu are vegan and tatse delicious.
Overall it wasn’t a great experience. It ended up being quite expensive by the time we paid for the play area and the food. The food was food I could make at home for next to nothing, but they charged ridiculous prices. However, that being said, if the experience had been good in the play area we would’ve not paid much attention to the food thing. The area was set up cute - an interactive little town. The problem was some big kids were allowed in and they took all the props such as pretend groceries, etc and filled the shopping carts and raced them and slammed them together as they flew through there. This made the play area unusable as several centres no longer had props and it was dangerous as they ran and slammed the carts and other toys aggressively together. They were even slamming toys in to the other kids and adults. The staff watched and did nothing. It would be great if there were policies in place to stop older kids from rough housing so the centres can be enjoyed by all.
I visited for the first time with my 2.5 year old and 7 month old. Very impressed! We were greeted by Ryan who was so friendly and polite! He did a great job explaining everything too us and was always around to answer questions or take orders. The playhouse has tons of toys for both ages. Although I'm not plant based, the oat latte and pastries were absolutely delicious!! Clean facility and tons of parking. If you have young kids, this is a must visit!
I love the concept for kids and also parents. Kids can play and parents can sit and have coffee or snacks. But the each playhouses e very small. I wish they could do it on bigger area. It is very congested for 5peopleincluding kids in each station.i can't teach my kid anything as it gets crowded. the place is also not so big perfect for 20people all togetherBut i wouldn't prefer to go again.
There is so much to rave about when it comes to Sweet Pea Café. The staff is lovely. The food is so good - vegan and gluten-free options. The kids love it. And you can pick up a dinner kit while you're there. Wins all around.
