Ordered too much food lol they have veryyy good portions and good variety, something for everyone. Tried their chicken biryani spicy lahori style, fish and chips Got the 2pc but theyre very big, 4 of us ate from it!, beef karhai, garlic naan and the mix grill platter. Everything was quite good, we really enjoyed it. Took home some of almost all the items as it was so much for 2 adults and 2 kids. We recommend checking them out. Will come again! Thank u!
Ordered the African beef ribs and Karahi Beef. Asked for authentic. It was medium spicy and pretty good. If you can't handle spice, then ask for mild. Else it may be a bit too hot for you. We were informed the chef has changed for whatever reason. Since it was our first time there, we did not really care. We enjoyed both dishes and will be going back. We decided to get the kulfi falooda for dine in, but were told they can't make it. A lot of menu items were not available, as staff are being trained. I appreciate the honesty and will visit again in a week or 2.
Absolutely delicious food! The restaurant has a very unique concept & offers different cuisines in one spot! Their prices are very affordable & their portions are huge. And it’s all HALAL! My kids enjoyed their favourite foods while devoured dishes from different cuisines ! My family ordered Shish Kabab & Miahkaki from the tandoori, yum! East African Mishkaki & ribs! Absolutely tender & flavourful! I ordered the Philly beef sandwich from the European cuisine & it was the best I had in town! Their sweets didn’t disappoint! The Gulab Jamin was delicious & Kheer was great. Highly recommended ! P.S. i only took pics of my sandwich & salad substituted the French fries - look how massive the portions are!. Couldn’t take more pics as the family was hungry & dove right in!
Halal! Loved this! The server was so nice. the location is super clean and nice has an indoor sitting and outdoor patio as well which is clean. Their menu options are crazyy good and broad! so many options to choose from. tried their chicken hakka noodles and peri fries with szheuan chicken and seekh kabab and naan. the raita that came with it was just amazing!! reminded me of Pakistan. their seekh kabab and naan and szhuan chicken is 10/10. Hakka noodles are 7/10 cleanliness is 10/10 they got road parking and parking behind the restaurant as well. some of food items are coming soon and I will be back to try them for sure. Food came pretty quick and fresh! Free drinks refill!
Beef ribs were very tasty, will be back again to try the huge menu. Patio was also a nice treat!
I came here with my mom last week. We come every now and then because we love the food and usually the service is great. However, last week my mom and I came and the woman who took our order was so disrespectful, condescending, and hurtful. We noticed that the restaurant was busy. But this does not give anybody the right to be rude to customers. I understand having to work in a fast paced environment, I’ve worked in the industry myself. Employees are always told not to take out their frustration on customers. When I ordered, her tone was very harsh. I asked if there was steak, and the woman told me “does this look like a place that will give steak? We are not that kind of restaurant.” I was so embarrassed, because this is just not the way to speak to people. I apologize for not knowing this information beforehand. When I came back to add on to my order, which I’ve done before, she said “do you not see how busy we are right now? Like that’s gonna take a long time. See how many people are here?” There was a man who said sorry to me and was so kind about the situation. I do want to acknowledge the other employees who were so sweet, and were patient despite how busy it was. But the woman who was serving, like what is this? Who speaks like this? So disappointed. And so disrespectful to speak like this. I don’t want to come back. I’m confused because I’ve never been treated like this before at any restaurant. I commend those in the industry because it’s tough, but this treatment is just not it.
I usually get a little nervous when a restaurant sells too many different kinds of food. But I decided to give a food fair a shot. They sell Italian, Pakistani, African, East Indian, Chinese, and then add on some poutine, burgers, and fish and chips. I tried the butter chicken with rice and naan. It was pretty good. Butter chicken was creamy and had good flavor, Naan especially made quite tasty. Rice was a little dry. A food fair probably won't make my favorites list but it was pretty solid.
I love this place. Recently though, we’ve gone and it’s been closed for “private function.” I wanted to update my review to reflect this. If you’re thinking of going to Food Fair, I would call ahead to ensure they’re open to the public. The first time it was fine, no biggie. Second time I was a little irritated by it. I don’t know what the answer is with a place like this, maybe it’s time to relocate to a building that allows for private functions but also remain open to the public. Otherwise, the food here is really good.
Amazing flavors and great service! Huge portions as well. Great experience overall!Food: 5/5
Well balanced......food.....is great.... presentation is even great....for the prices it's well worth the trip even if you live far. Will be coming back to try more!! So far a gem in Edmonton which I find to be lacking more of these gems.....
