Had a Chinese Banquet here. The dishes they served varied in tastiness. Some were amazing and others were soso. Of note, their homemade Chinese desserts like green bean pastry, red bean glutinous sesame ball, and red bean soup were very good. The lobster tasted super fresh, sweet, and crisp. Their fish maw soup was also quite amazing. They do classic Cantonese Chinese fishes very well. However, other dishes like vegetables were quite average and bitter. The fish tasted stale.... I suspect the fish was dead for a while because we saw lots of dead fish in their fish tank. Service was typical Chinese restaurant service.
Some dishes were tasty, some were just okay. Foods were served quickly shortly after order. Restaurant has very convenient location with lots of parking at the mall. Nice decoration and very clean, we love the atmosphere. It's definitely a great place for family gathering. The restaurant is packed on the weekend, better to make a reservation especially when you come with a big group.
Always a great experience here whether it’s for lunch dim sum or dinner here. Tonight we had the Peking duck and king crab set dinner. Everything was delicious! Sorry only took pictures of the duck and crab. Highly recommend it’s out family’s go to for birthdays and celebrations.
If you're looking for a decent dim sum meal and don't mind a little bit of a language barrier with the staff, Lee Garden Seafood Restaurant is worth checking out. Just be aware that you'll need to wave down a server to get their attention - and be prepared for some surprises with the menu.
Grand Palace is tucked into a upstairs corner of Henderson Place. A nice space with lots of windows, the decor is a little dated but it's still one of the nicer places to bring a guest out to Chinese food in the Tri-Cities. We usually go early for dim sum and get the usual suspects - dumplings, rice rolls - all of which are nicely done. The food and portions are good, the prices are a bit higher than average but still reasonable. We also appreciate the quick service. I wish the rest of the mall is a nicer visit, but it means there are always lots of space on the rooftop parkade.
For dim sum, my favorites are Pan fried pork and chives & pan fried eggplant with shrimp. Ordered 6 dim sum dishes including dissert, ended up packing some left over.Food: 4/5
Service was good, prices are very high compared to other dim sum restaurants. Everything tasted good, some items were a bit greasier than usual.
Waiting: The lady at the door made us wait outside the restaurant after registering the number of people we were eating. We waited for 30 minutes and the waiting area was already empty. When I went in again, she seemed to remember. Service: very bad service. They threw their plates on the table, turned their heads and left without saying a word. Don't try to find waiters, they will pretend not to see. Even when they serve you the wrong dish. Food: Although the price is a bit high, the taste is good. One star is for the food. Very poor service, good food.Overall, I don't recommend this restaurant if you want a pleasant dining environment.
Love their dim sum very authentic and tasty. But they overbook on family day Monday I've to wait more than 30 mins to get in. Not very pleased
Have a wonderful dinner there with my parents. Friendly staff and willing to go extra mile to help customers. Family friendly restaurant for dinner
