Happy Lamb Hot Pot

We came before the dinner rush which meant we got our food very fast! This is an all you can eat for a set price. There are additional items that are not included and will be extra. There are limited choices and you're only allowed to order 2 meats at a course. There are two courses. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and polite. The robot cat that carries your food is interesting and efficient! The sauce choices are nice. The flavour of the soup is excellent. The meat and veggies are fresh. I just wish the washrooms were cleaner and broken areas fixed. It would also be nice if there are explanations on how ordering works, pictures to show you what it is as well as clearer on how many items you get. A lot of reviews mentioned slow wait times after selecting food but we didn't find that to be the case even when it was full and busy. They also had given us all our selections!

The food was delicious! The waitresses were very nice and explained everything to us because it was our first time getting hot pot. The service was very friendly and timely. Did some research before coming to the place. I went through most of the critical reviews and expected to be served the same ways. However, the experience wasn’t that bad as opposed to those extremely toxic and critical reviews which was some personal bias against the restaurant. I would rate the restaurant 7/10. The other 3 is the customer service. All the servers were friendly but not professional enough to provide the best experience to the customers. Eye contact did not occur even though the server was walking toward us but she avoided looking at us to minimize the work she would be assigned I guess? At least inform another server to come over if you were busy at the moment but still try making eye contact with your customers. They didn’t come around and add any soup to our pot when it was pretty much condensed with the amount of noodles we put in. We had to walk up to the servers most of the times for extra utensil. The server spilled water on the ground unintentionally without wiping it and left me at risk of slipping. In addition, if I were the server, I would walk up to the table and asked whether we need anything from them. The surface of the source bottles were sticky and oily whenever you put your fingers around it. Overall, food was fresh and waiting period of food was short. I couldn’t write other suggestion beside retraining the servers to provide better experience! Perhaps the lack of teamwork training was the result of 7/10 from my rating based on my experience.

I like the place since it’s close to my house and the all you can eat part is the best thing about it. We always ask for less oil in the spicy pot. Fatty beef, garlic beef, mushrooms and noodles is what we order the most. Mussels and shrimps balls are nice too. The only reason I’m giving 4 star is that every time we have to make sure they bring what we ordered, otherwise they either bring very little or they don’t bring it at all.

Since the last time I've been here before covid, this place to me is now a 5 star! The management seems to have changed with the logo and name. It uses to be little lamb hot pot the same as in Metrotown, and the packets you see at T&T The one thing I did like- 2 things actually, are the music, which was really nice. And the cute cat robot!! That was the best part of the stay. It was so cute seeing it roll by. We all had a double take at first. But it was so funny bringing our food, with our server still needing to come take it out. Kind of scary though, makes us feel like we're closer to a dystopian era. Food wise, 4/5 since they did forget to give us stuff we ordered. If they change this, this will be a lite 5/5

First time having hot pot - and loved it! Restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Staff were helpful and attentive. They even have a cool robot that delivers your orders. Will definitely do a return visit.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Coquitlam. Always come here to have all you can eat hotpot and this is really an awesome restaurant in Coquitlam. Highly recommend the tomato broth and hot and sour soup base. The lamb bone is amazing!!! The robot is friendly and cute^^ and the staff cares about your experience.

All you can eat is much cheaper than the normal ordering so it is totally worth it if you have a big stomach! Flavor is not bad. They didn't serve us Kelp for both rounds we ordered. I believe they ran out of it maybe? But no one told us so.

Came Friday night with a group of 8. Unlike the other reviews, we had a great experience! The only negative thing was fruit flies.. But everything seemed fresh haha and tasted good! Service was quick and they were attentive. Sauce bar was awesome! Was only a 15-20min wait when we arrived.

Been awhile since I last visited this restaurant. Cool robot that serves food now. Really good customer service, food was very fresh and delicious. Soup was not too salty. Lots of condiments and kept very clean. I would recommend upgrading to deluxe all you can eat menu, my favourite was the AAA beef. Some of the better meat that I've had at hot pot places. Our servers Susan and Sarah were amazing! We will come back again very soon.
