Old Korean place converted into a half Quebec half Mexicain place. Interesting concept!! Nacho plate is huge so be warned if having a meal as well. My hard shelled tacos with a beef dip were really good. The burrito was good but definately not the best. Service was good, even has a live singer. Place needs some updates as it looks really run down, especially in the bathrooms. OVERALL a good experience.
It was a nice experience at Le Mexiquois. The service was very nice and reasonable price. However, I think the restaurant should working more on the food. The chicken swings was ways sour than it should be. The flan was too much flour that I smell nothing. Hopefully, you can fix that!Food: 2/5
This Mexican themed restaurant was a pleasant surprise. A friend told me he was at a new place and so i came spontaneously and it was so worth it. I ordered a delcious beef nachos and the flavor was fresh the chips were freshly cut and fried. The bartender Christina made me an authentic delicious lime margarita martini style. This Mexiquois reminds me of the cuisine in Arizona . The pricing is humane and the portion sizes are ample.
This place is really nice! It has a lot of space to spread out. Our waiter was really attentive come by to see if we were happy. I believe his ne was Paul. We were served great complimentary nachos with refried beans, and 3 types of salsa. It was fantastic! I loved loved the nachos. I ordered the birria Tacos which were good but they weren't filled enough and my partner ordered rolled up tacos with rice and salad. The only down side are the portion sizes. Other than that the places if perfect. I definitely recommend. They also have happy hour Wednesdays and Thursdays.!
Hands down best Mexican restaurant in Montréal! Service is outstanding. They are super friendly and want to make sure you have a great time during your visit. Food was to die for!!! The best birria tacos I’ve ever had. Welcome to the neighborhood!!! We are so lucky to have you guys in town!
Great service. Delicious food. Just tried this local spot and happy we did. I'll be back for sure. Cocktails were on point too.Food: 5/5
Great little place! The service is a tad slow but the food and drinks are freshly made and quality takes time! The basil drinks are so fresh and refreshing you simply MUST try them!Food: 5/5
My hubby and 5 year old went to check out this new restaurant last night. We were happy to hear the drinks were 2 for 1 during the week. The food was excellent and service impeccable. We cleaned our plate and enjoyed the complimentary chips and bean dip as well. I would recommend for a date night, family fun or just a girls night out for drinks! Good luck Mexiqouis ;
We live not far from here and finally stopped in last night on the way home from a walk. I lived in San Francisco for six years so my standards for Mexican food are quite high and very few places in Montreal impress me. Le Mexiquois was a welcome surprise! We got the different, distinct and tasty salsas with delicious home made tortilla chips. The guacamole was also top notch and the nachos were piled high with toppings. All the staff were very sweet. I will definitely be going back. Restaurants in this side of the tracks don't get enough love, but Le Mexiquois is worth the trip.
It was honestly too expensive for the quantity. For 3 very small tacos it cost 20+$. It cost $160 for 4 people and the food was not filling at all. Granted, it’s a new restaurant that just opened last month but for the pricing and quantity, it was definitely not worth it. Tres amigos is better if you wanna go for a good meal. I do not recommend at all.
