Lovely place lovely owner. Came in on a Wednesday and we were the only dine in customers. A great experience with the open kitchen and as soon as she starts cooking the restaurant is filled with delicious aroma. I’m not a big asparagus or mushroom person but the vegetable lasagna which was rich in both was incredible. Highly recommend her wine pairings with the meal. I felt the meal was great value. Considering all the unique ingredients. Also the beet butter with the salad was incredible. Lots of attention to detail and a great intimate dining experience. Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options. Almost a majority of the menu.
This is a true hidden gem in Montreal. It's a beautifully intimate venue, with only a few tables and you get to watch the chef cook your meal. The menu celebrates sustainability and small scale farming, so is changing often... And the food is quite something. Each element is celebrated and the pairing of unique and bold flavours is an absolute delight to eat. I've never had a mushroom creme brulee but I've not stopped thinking about it since.
I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!!!! We have been several times and each time the food was unique, delicious and flavorful. The chef is so very talented : You can expect dishes with local and seasonal ingredients, a small and cozy atmosphere and a fun dining experience. HIGHLY recommend, we look forward to coming again
Loved the tacos and the salad with Asian cucumbers. This place is a true neighborhood gem!Food: 5/5
New restaurant that just opened, walked past it yesterday and had to pop in. Very homey, nothing fancy but the food is simply incredible. Chef works with many local farmers and cooks with whatever produce is freshest & in season which makes it so good. Menu also does rotate. Farm to mouth concept. Happy to have dined here on my visit to MTL.
Such an incredibly unique dining experience! We’re from out of town, and Chef Maurin made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was was super cozy, and since we arrived right at opening, it felt like we had our own personal chef for a little while before other diners arrived. We loved talking with Maurin while she cooked for us as well as her many takeout orders… wow this woman is good at multi-tasking!! The menu is small, but everything was so fresh and delicious. My husband is obsessed with mushrooms, so naturally we had to try the mushroom crème brûlée, and it was delicious. So sad we don’t live close enough to be regulars here!
What a wonderful restaurant! With the construction outside, it's really a beautiful oasis. The restaurant maybe seats 14 people, so be sure to grab a seat while you can. The chef is spectacular, and all of the ingredients she uses are local and seasonal. I particularly loved the dessert, which was a slice of cake with saffron-infused gin flavored icing. It's only about a week old, and it is already one of the shining stars of Montréal. Grab a seat and enjoy a delicious and delectable meal!
Small hole in the wall with amazing food, the restaurant feels like you are invited to your friends house. Everything is delicious, highly recommend it!Food: 5/5
This was one of the most delicious meals we’ve had in our two weeks in Montreal! I hope we’ll have a chance to visit again. We enjoyed every minute and bite.Food: 5/5
Amazing! Maurin the owner/chef is a super friendly interesting person, and she was running the entire operation - from front of house to cooking to bussing, and everything was perfect! Great flavors, local fresh seasonal ingredients, and a conscise thoughtful menu. A-plus!!!
