Le Coq Frit

Chicken was crispy and perfectly cooked, and the slaw is fabulous!! They also have a great dining area if you want to dine in. Service was a bit slow when I went, otherwise it would have been a solid 5 stars.

tried there 2 piece meal , very disappointed chicken is crunchy and moist but unseasoned just like their fries no salt whatsoever very bland just tasting the frying oil. Best part of the meal was the gravy wich I had to pay extra for 2 piece with fries coleslaw and extra gravy about 20 bucks way too pricey and overrated. not to mention their cole slaw was tasteless and filled with mint leaves the flavor just didn't work. we want seasoning on the chicken please #easy #saltandpepper

crispy battered and well seasoned fried chicken with heavenly gravy sauce Amazing , truly one of the best fried chickens I have ever tasted. The coleslaw with purple cabbage and mint is fun and delicious too,but slightly lacking flavor sometimes, perhaps add a bit more oil and vinegar? Nonetheless, this is a great place for delicious chicken, I guarantee.

The best fried chicken imo. However, whenever we order combos, they ALWAYS, ALWAYS forget the fries!! Clearly they need to change how the ticket prints out so its easier to see that!

Fantastic fried chicken! Juicy on the inside, crunchy coating, absolute perfection! The coleslaw is also quite nice. Local ingredients and friendly staff make this one of my favorite fried chicken spots to visit in Montreal!

Very nice and quiet place, it was very hard to find this fine place in a commercial building, but worth it. Very good food and nice serving.

Authentic and delicious! Had a chance to eat there with a colleague before xmas. Lucky for us the charming blue eyed owner was there and we got an extra portion of chicken : Thank you for the great service!

Had the mixed bucket and it was bomb.com. The dark meats came with bone and the white meat was boneless=like tenders. They were kind enough to give us free sauces to try. I would totally recommend! I've been dragging to go there and try it but their first shop was to far away from my home. Now that it's on Chabanel, there's no more excuse to no try it. It's in a big commercial building. It's on your right when you enter the building.

The best fried chicken in the city !!! Do not sleep on the coleslaw either. Staff is super friendly and sauces are outstanding !!!!
