The chicken shawarma is really amazing. Especially the potatoes because I see they hand toss it and they are fresh but not over fried. The rice is perfect! Firmness and the salad is very fresh as well. I like the raw red onions. Portions are very big too. It's enough to feed two peopleFood: 5/5
We usually get Lazeez on the Rocks, and this location does it pretty well. Big portions with the sauces done right. It was fairly busy when we went at lunchtime today, but they are pretty efficient, so it's not too long of a wait. Other people were ordering wraps and salads and they looked decent too, with lots of toppings.
The store is very small and the hygiene was okayish. The order took long time even though what I ordered was 2 items. The food was delicious. Even the pricing is fine. So does the quantity. One thing which caught my attention was that the manager lady was rude to her staff, she was chastising her worker in front of customers. Please try to avoid such issues , as the customers would find it unpleasant.

I can see why this restaurant has so many great reviews because the food tastes fantastic, the portions are very generous and the service is fast. I had the chicken shawarma platter and the chicken was very tender and aromatic. The rice was seasoned very well with aromatics that made it very flavorful. The fries and roasted potatoes were cooked too perfection and very crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. The roasted potatoes were a tad to salty for my liking but you could always adjust that by asking them to put less seasoning on. Definitely a great place to come for dinner Kid-friendliness: It's more of a takeout place versus dine-in as there are no seats to dine and except the adjacent food court Parking: Located in the shops on Don Mills plaza so there's plenty of parking available Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessibility as there is no ramp into the restaurant
Massive portion for the Lazeez Special Platter I couldn't finish it. They gave, in one box, the salad, chicken/rice/potatoes/chips in the other with some sauce/dressing on the top, and some hot sauce. Honestly, the hot sauce was not needed - it was that good. I couldn't finish the salad so I brought that home. Friendly folks, looks like it's run by a humble family. Would definitely come here again even though I wasn't very specific with my order, the manager/owner had to get some things re-done in my order cause it wasn't the actual recipe/procedure. Despite me telling them that it's perfectly okay, she insisted that it be corrected because they want repeat customers. I think this experience tells you a lot about them. 10/10 would come again!
Went to this place on family day with my 2 kids cuz Wimpy next door was closed. We stood at the cash to place our order the rude woman stood there and was arguing with a teenage boy who was working there. finally when she took her order she was still arguing with him and not listening to our order, so we had to keep repeating our order. Then she stood there with the Pita in her hand still arguing with the kid while we waited, then out of nowhere she's just started stuffing lettuce in the pita followed by cucumbers that's when I stopped her and said what are you doing I don't want those items in there she took the whole thing and dumped it back in the food tray- lettuce with cucumber mixed in. I just stood there shocked, that's when the teenage worker noticed how unprofessional she was and stepped in and took over. This woman should not be working with the public at all . Also the food tray was missing items and was very dirty, zoom in on the picture. worst customer service I've experienced in 50 years
I have been to this location many times and is by far my favorite from the 7 other locations I've been to. If you're feeling hungry, get the large chicken shawarma wrap, they use two pitas folded together to make a foot and a half long tube of deliciousness. Staff are very friendly and the older gentleman who I assume is the franchisee is fantastic. Do not pay with credit card, they get charged stupid processing fees - best to pay with cash or debit. Will definitely be here again in the future Parking: Plenty of free parking in the mall parking lot.
Passed by this place a few times and finally dropped in to pick up some lunch to go. We tried the Lazees on the rocks and the beef half and half..and wow, we loved both of them. It superseded our expectations by a mile. Everything was great right from the marinated meats chicken and beef, both were yum to the delicious sauces and the aromatic rice that's served with it. Will definitely recommend!
This place is amazing. Family-run, and it's a VERY nice family full of hardworking people. They are generous with their portions, and really load up on the garlic + tahini. They are always so happy and friendly with their regulars and I can tell, because every time I go there it seems like there's a regular there having a friendly conversation with them! 10/10 would take these guys over Osmow's. The Lazeez on the Rocks kept me happy and fed for a long time. Whenever I am back in the area, this place is definitely on my "to visit" list!
