Family oriented place with great Caucasian food. Fast service. Reasonable price considering inflationFood: 5/5
I ordered a takeout prior the Christmas. Everything was ready on time. Good portions. Delicious authentic food. My husband and I just enjoyed every bite. Strongly recommended!
The food is great! Very tasty, fresh and delicious. The service was very good. Definitely I will recommend to my friends and family. Gabriel
First time trying Armenian Cuisine - it did not disappoint! The exterior is nothing special, you would probably miss it or just keep walking by if you didn’t know this hidden gem existed. The service was very friendly and attentive with an atmosphere that created a mix of casual / fine dining. The restaurant is small but they do have a private room for larger parties. We ordered a few items off the menu, all were quite delicious. First came the complimentary warmed bread and pickled cabbage questionable. Then they brought out the salad, which was very fresh, and fried potatoes- delicious! Mains were cooked perfectly and flavourful. Portions are large and very filling. We ordered the beef kebabs and shared it between 2 people. Overall, food was delicious and service was great. Definitely recommend and will be back!
Great restaurant. Would definitely come back. Went here for a private event. Food was great and spiced well. Tables were set up properly. Staff was very professional, quick, and accommodating
Quality has gone down, but prices have gone up. There are better ways to save money than cheaping out on the quality of lamb, and not offering substitutions for their lackluster sides. It's unreasonable to expect a patron to buy a lamb dinner with a side they will not eat, and then have them order a salad on top of that, when all they want is a skewer and a salad. Either sell your shashlik a la carte, or add salad as a side to serve it with. You're not saving any money by pushing regular customers away with your inflexibility. On another note, why would you add marinated peppers to a Greek salad? That was just awful. To pay over $160 for a meal in which only the appetizers were enjoyable is a travesty. I am not coming back here again, despite us having been regulars for over a decade. It's sad to see a formerly great place slowly self-destruct.
Amazing Armenian food! The owner is pure Armenian, extremely respectful and classy. The food is phenomenal and the service is great. The prices are more than fair. For those who want to try a signature Armenian dish, you absolutely must try the pork ribs at this place with the house salad or even better the Armenian salad and potatoes. Their soups are amazing too, harcho or kyufta is what I usually get and they are awesome! I also need to add that their pork ribs reminded me of the wonderful time I spent in Yerevan. It really tastes very authentic and Armenian/home-made. If you would like to get an alcoholic beverage, they have Ararat Armenian brandy which is a must, or if you would like a non-alcoholic beverage, they have magnificent Armenian coffee which is a must also! Definitely try this place. It's magnificent!
There is a large choice of authentic Armenian dishes. Their homemade potatoes are delicious, and pork bbq is yummy. The service is nice and friendly.Food: 5/5
It is my first time trying this cusine. Very friendly waiters and lovely environment. We ordered our food based on recommendations from our waiter, who is very chatty and interesting. Food is delicious and service is quick. Recommended to non-vegeterians :
I have been in most Russian speaking Restorants if not all of them in GTA. This place is by far has the best veal meat “shahlik iz baraneni” and chebureki. I even talk about this place when I travel outside of canada. If you want to know how tasty food can get, the peak of flavours combined with cozy place to sit and friendly atmosphere, Ani Restorant is the place for you.
