First visit to Abu Hummus, and first impressions: one of the best hummuses hummi? I've had in Canada and I go to many of them. Creamy and good taste that you feel all the way down your throat, unlike many places, where you encounter barely-flavorful hummus. Served warm and fresh. Had the vegan shawarma hummus bowl, chopped salad with warm chickpeas, and both were excellent. Good pickles come with it, good schug and tasty lemon garlic sauce as well. Also nice of them to ask which of these side add-ons you want, as many people could care less about these and end up creating unnecessary garbage. Lastly, cutlery is wooden. Great environmentally! From first impressions, can't recommend this place enough! Update: 2nd visit:. I think the basic hummus bowl is the best item from everything I've tried. Wife also likes the yoghurt drinks they offer. The pitas they use are great even two days later. Ask for extras when you order. New people this time around, still seem like they're learning the ropes, but they are trying hard!

The falafel bowl I ordered was delicious. I will definitely be returning. Just a heads up though, currently this location wasn't showing up on my Google Maps app. I don't know if that's something on my end or not.

Amazing experience. I live downtown and had their hummus in their original Kensington location. Went up to Thornhill to visit family and got a take-home feast. The food is delicious, of course, and is the closest I have gotten to Israeli tasting hummus in the GTA. My mother also has celiac. This place isn't certified gluten free but they do have many gluten free options including gluten free pita. I can't speak for how it all went down with my mother but they showed me their kitchen briefly and how they try to separate gluten from gluten free items. They clearly know what they're doing. All around a great experience, good food, and nice staff. Highly recommended.

I am a hummus lover, and I'm not middle eastern. I usually don't write reviews but I feel like I have to. I was at their Kensington Market location last summer and remember asking them to come to my area, and gosh, they really listened!! I am super pumped. Got a free sample by walking in as they don't officially open till tomorrow. Super excited!!

Great food, awesome presentation, very clean . All family enjoyed. Owner treats staff really good and that's a big sign. We'll done, our new regular spot

Great food! Delicious Hummus! Absolutely incredible customer service. The moment my son and I walked in the owner warmly greeting us. The cook and server were so sweet and accommodating. Just genuinely good people. I really have never been to a pita place and got the service of a fine dining restaurant! Love everything about this place, will be coming again! Thank you.

One of the best Hummus in Thornhill. I love ordering the meal bowls. Just as close as it is going to get from being in Israel. Very reasonable price Good service Available on most apps for delivery Unfortunately hours are short and they are not open late. Highly recommend

Service and presentation was amazing. The foul was not what I expected. The portion size is big. The hummus is fluffy and light and lacking flavor. The matbucha was amazing. The overall pricing for the vegetarian meals is great but too much for the meat if you want it. It's worth the taste and if you like it and continue to support the business but this was not for me. Portion was too big for me to eat in one go so will add hot sauce and some other things and use it as a dip.
