Law Offices of William Bruce Shepley

He is an old grouchy washed up attorney that has no drive ambition or fight left in him. He is simply just cashing people's checks and giving advice that is not in the clients best interest and least likely to have him put forth any real effort in working for. I feel he has dammaged my case beyond hope at this point. He tells me he will only communicate with me via email for the remainder of process. How can you effectively represent someone by only communicating with them through email? This was because he did not like the fact that I can be very passionate about my interest and in avoiding a conviction and not agreeing with him about the course that I would like to take that involved going all the way to trial because it's worth the fight to me. I'm sorry if I don't want to bend over and take it like everyone else, there is cause for argument in my case and I'm not going to give it up because the odds are that great. Its not a slam dunk as he keeps referring to it. Constantly reminding me that I would not win the case and that I would only be pissing the judge off that would be hearing my case for waisting time and resources in her courtroom. Well I could give a rats ass who feels like I'm waisting their time it's my fricken constitutional right to go to trial and it's his fricken job to do what I want and represent my interest in staying out of jail and keeping a conviction off my record and not to advise me of options that would require him to do little if anything to earn the thousands of dollars I paid the loser. You know how you don't really want to see the cook who is making your food doing his business in the bathroom the imagery wipes your desire to eat even if you are starving. The same applies when you see your attorney chuckling along with the DA like they are old fishing budddies each and every time the end up in the same room together. Both leave a bad taste in your mouth

I had a really good experience with bruce. Didn't break the bank my case was reasonable only at $4000. It was definitely worth the money. He saved me from alot of terrible things happening with my life. Of course i had to do some time for my crimes, but Bruce got 75% of the counts against me taken off resulting in me getting significantly less jail time. If you are looking for the right lawyer to represent you. Bruce is the guy.

This guy is an absolute crook! First, he uses scare tactics then tells you everything you want to hear. We're going to take this all the way to trial and win. I paid him over 9,000 dollars and a day before trial, he tells you you should take the plea. He was too concerned with his election bid, that he never even took the time to look at the files. He kept breaking promise after promise, and even said he would take the file to look at while he went fishing. I'm sure that never happened. He then faked being sick so he could have the date postponed, but the judge saw right through that . I have made requests for the file and was told that it was destroyed. I have left numerous messages and have never got a response. When he sees me, he tries to hide. Only because he knows that he did me wrong. Find any attorney but him.

I was very impressed with Bruce Shepley's service as my attorney! He is very knowledgeable & experienced, and I trust him completely. He offered great advice that helped me worlds when in court. I ended up enduring less hardship from the court than I expected while Bruce was advising/representing me. He knew all of the things that needed to be done when I made my mistake and got myself into a sticky situation. It was really good for my peace of mind not having to worry about things I was unsure of. I highly recommend Bruce as an attorney. Not only was he a pleasure to work with but he was very honest from the beginning with what he could do for me in my situation. Again, everything turned out better than I expected. If there is any debate regarding his skills and professionalism, know that this man is also a highly respected Judge with over 30 years in the business.
