I'll start with it's expensive so go looking for really good quality food expecting to pay a little more. I found it on my way home not wanting to walk all the way to Park and I am so glad. The soups and sauces in the returnable jars are extremely good. We had produce and fresh pasta. I will be sad to leave Montreal and a store with such delicious food.

It irks me when people rate stuff lower because it's a little expensive or the quality isn't good. You know that almost before you walk in the door - I'm not rating how my quality was at McDonald's, or how the interior of Segal's looks. Places can't be masters of all traits, if you want better quality than the average place it will be a little more expensive than the average place. Why demand they have the same prices as your local IGA and rate it 4 stars cause it doesn't?

I go there only for their made to order sandwiches and they are pretty good. You have more than 30 choice of meat.

Pretty decent upscale grocery store in the heart of the trendy Mileend neighborhood. Can be a little pricey but good quality products.

Excellent selection of goods. Quite a bit pricier than the big grocery chains and some smaller grocery stores. Deli also has a nice selection of food to go.
